Is 'Another Lonely Night' really past its time? Am I getting the message (I may have misinterpreted) that there's no point in requesting? I just heard ALN for the first time (other than the HAC countdown a week ago) yesterday on SF Radio Alice - preceded by Adam saying a few words about his 'new single'!! It sounded fabulous! Even the moo! Such joy! If I hadn't been driving a treacherous highway on a stormy day I would have found a way to text a 'thank you' - and a request to hear again! Am I getting this wrong? Isn't ALN just a 'slow climber'?? It is doing fine on HAC. Could be #22 on today's published chart, out at 6:00 Pacific Time. I think it will make #20 on HAC too. It has been bleeding spins on Top 40 though. :( We might have to be happy with good HAC numbers this time. Or, when it hits #20 on HAC, maybe Top 40 will wake up! Either way, it has been a good second single. IMO, if you are requesting local or on SIRIUS, you should continue to do so! Thank you!!!!!!! I'll keep on!!!!

Just being the small gray cloud of radio reality -- ALN is past the time when individual station voting will make an impact. Save your energy for the next single. When a song is new and below 40ish, fan voting can help -- a lot. When a song is a fast mover and headed to the Top 5, fan voting can help it move up a slot or two, but with streaming and people meter ratings make fan voting not so important anymore. It is on the AT HAC list so there is no voting possible for it there. The streaming data does not indicate it is a hit. There is no callout data on ALN and it is not likely to make the survey because familiarity is too low. It was released worldwide and really has not been a big hit anywhere -- one could argue for Poland. But it did make no impact in AU, South Africa, NZ, Canada and in Asia. An Adult Pop song should make an impact in Canada which is the most HAC-leaning market of the majors and nothing. Chart (2015-2016) Peak position US Dance Club Songs (Billboard) 18US Adult Top 40 (Billboard) 25 Poland (Polish Airplay Top 100) 5 Netherlands (Dutch Top 40) 35 Australia (ARIA) 107 My hope is that it moves up to #20 on HAC and that it continues to make inroads in US Clubs and move up there. It moved from #27 to #18 with 3 weeks on the chart. It should move up again but this chart is hard to forecast. And it is I still stream ALN on YT and Spotify - it's effortless and can't hurt, right? - but I do increasingly add other songs to the playlist (TOH, The Light, and GT currently). Here and there I stream the whole album. I would have to say that requesting on HAC is still important. ALN is climbing on that format and has a great shot at getting into the top 20. As you can see from pattihum's post and the discussions on the Numbers Thread, it may well be #22 tonight on HAC published report. That push to 20 will have it go down as a very successful second single even without charting well on Pop. And, as pattihum said, Pop can wake up if it hits top 20 on HAC

So check the list for the HAC stations for their contests and request locally.

Is anyone else tired of Byron's schtick? He didn't ask one single question of Adam. 1/2 of the time was used up with Byron's "song." It was funny the first time he did the whole crush on Adam thing. I find it cringe worthy now! BTW, I met Byron in LA during Glam Nation! Lovely guy! But someone needs to tell him it is time to move on!

But I think it was during Carson Daily's evening syndicated show.

I cannot believe he wasted all of our time and Adam's with a utterly pointless "interview".
