I thought the name Lady GAGA was inspired by Radio GAGA by Queen? Don't see the Bowie connection for that! That's what she said ~ " the name Lady GAGA was inspired by Radio GAGA by Queen". Not Bowie related at all. And it's not that I don't think that woman is a very talented singer ~ because she is ~ but she always makes everything all about HER. Also, Lady Gaga has said that she's left singing to devote herself totally to her acting career. Adam has NOT left singing behind! Not sure where you heard that Gaga has given up her music career, but it's not true. Billboard ran a story last August that Gaga was working on her fifth album. MTV just ran a story last month confirming that it will be released this year. www.mtv.com/news/2725982/lady-gaga-new-album-2016/

Welcome home oh weary traveler!
Fabulous recap. Thank you so much for being so detailed.
I felt better knowing the "no touching" came from Adam. Makes sense that at some point you simply must have your personal space. I imagine it will be the same for the US shows. It's good to not have inflated expectations.
Couldn't agree more about being up close though I only managed it for one show this time around. The others are scattered locations but I am happy just to know I will hear him live. I axed the GA shows so I am more than impressed with your stamina! Of course it was not winter. Just can't imagine that.
Probably won't see you at this round of shows but we never know what is around the corner. Part of the fun in following Adam

I wish there were a way to include Adam and Queen and Nile as well as Gaga. QAL should reprise UnderPresuure, Adam should do Let's Dance [with Queen and Nile], and Gaga should do Fame and Lazarus. That would be pretty Awesome. Queen and Nile Rodgers could continue back up and Adam could join in at the end of Lazarus...or they could quickly reprise Space Oddity...that would be an awesome set... I'm not sure this scenario would have a chance in hell of working-------Once Adam steps on the stage, everyone else fades---and how would Gaga ever put up with THAT????? Remember, whatever she does, it's all about HER! Of course it's okay to not be a Gaga fan, but I don't think it's fair to say that she makes every appearance about her. Gaga and Tony Bennett did a TV special for PBS, and she definitely did not try to overshadow him or hog the stage. Ditto for the tour they just did. Here's the link for the TV special if you want to check it out: www.pbs.org/wnet/gperf/tony-bennett-lady-gaga-cheek-cheek-live-full-episode/3574/Also, as you may recall, she joined QAL onstage during one of their Australian concerts (for AOBTD), and she didn't try to push Adam off the stage, lol. In fact, she even sent out a complimentary tweet about Adam afterward. I could mention other collaborations, but I won't belabor the point. And re: Grammys, it's very possible that Adam might not even have the time to appear even if he was invited. RHPS is shooting in Toronto this month, and even though he has a small role, it's going to take several days of his time. He's got to pre-record his vocals, learn the choreography, do the actual filming, etc. So, along with everything else on his plate (including things we don't even know about), it just might not have been feasible for him anyway.

No offense to anyone, but I have become as tired of Lady Gaga as I was of Taylor Swift. Over-saturation is not a wonderful thing. Spread the joy a little, oh you people in charge. Them that has gets....

Sandy and I kinda regretted not standing for that last show as well....but in hindsight I'm sure we would have been even more tired for our early morning after return home flight. We were plenty tired as it was. Sometimes you just have to act like a responsible grown up. (which fortunately for me is seldom). lol There were many days of early flights out to the next location, so we had limited sleep thruout as well and many twin and sometimes hard beds. It was kinda like the Survivor show at times. We did have time to see some sites....kangaroos, koalas, etc. at the Sydney Zoo...The Sydney Opera House...harbor cruises to various Islands, Bondi Beach, downtown Melbourne on Australia Day...which is like our July 4th, etc. We didn't have time to explore the South Island in NZ or other out of town locations. Your time to see sites on concert day is limited if you are queueing all day at the venue...lol. Theosgma.....I'm only doing the two shows down south, and I'll be done. Then..........nothing on the horizon. That's a depressing thought. lol

I agree about Gaga. Although I'm bummed Adam won't be doing the Bowie tribute at the Grammys, and I think a medley with multiple artists would have been better (presumably). If by some miracle Adam did start getting invited to perform at all these things, we would probably be upset about complaints that he was hogging all the opportunities! Oh, and like someone said earlier, I'm sure glad they didn't choose Adele! I would have barfed. I think she's performing at the Grammys and her latest music (thankfully) isn't eligible for this year's awards. And as for Adam's availability, he has only 10 days between leaving Dubai and the beginning of the US portion of the tour. With RHPS filming in Toronto, he might not even be returning to LA. I don't know how he does it.

As much as I'd love to see Adam in Grammy and do tribute for his Idol, I will see as Adam's time to relax a bit. He doesn't have to rush his time flying back home.
