I saw that - it wasn't a 'real' Queen twitter account. Those two are not Queen or Brian May's accounts. The QueenRockBand account is a fan account. The BrainMayCom account is used by the editor of BrianMay.com, tweets don't come from Dr Bri himself

Just a little "under the radar" story- Shortly after seeing QAL, when I would mention to friends or family members that I had gone to a Queen concert, people would generally say something along the lines of "Great, who was singing?" However two people, separately, on different occasions, said, basically, "Who is Queen? I don't know who they are." These were people who went to concerts back in the day, saw many artists who were Queen's contemporaries. Yet in all these years Queen never made it onto their radar. I was surprised. peace&love I have a story too. At my local health club I told two ladies how much of an Adam fan I am. They both know Adam and one of them really liked him on Idol but none of them has really followed him. Both were unaware that Adam is also lead singer for Queen, but the former fan from Idol thought it is the perfect fit for Adam. Another example how outside of our bubble Adam and a lot of his cool gigs are somewhat unknown still.

These were people who went to concerts back in the day, saw many artists who were Queen's contemporaries. Yet in all these years Queen never made it onto their radar. I was surprised. peace&love Billboard just put out a list of Greatest of All Time Hot 100 artists starting from late 50s and early 60s until Oct 2015. I was shocked that Queen was not on the list. I looked at it several times as I thought it was a mistake. I came to the conclusion that Queen must not have been that popular in the US. Even Kelly Clarkson was on the list. www.billboard.com/charts/greatest-hot-100-artistsHere was the criteria to be on the list: These all-time rankings are based on actual performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 (from its launch on Aug. 4, 1958 through Oct. 10, 2015) and Billboard 200 (from Aug. 17, 1963 — when we combined our two leading pop album album charts for stereo and mono releases into one all-encompassing weekly chart — through Oct. 10, 2015). Titles are ranked based on an inverse point system, with weeks at No. 1 earning the greatest value and weeks at lower rungs earning the least. Due to changes in chart methodology over the years, eras are weighted differently to account for chart turnover rates over various periods. Artists are ranked based on the combined point totals, as outlined above, of all their Hot 100 or Billboard 200 chart entries.

A couple of die-hard middle aged male Queen fans saying they were 'here for Queen' and were going to stay in the bar until ' that Adam Lambert had finished his set' Boy, were they in for a long wait.....
