My son's girlfriend works at Macy's here in Ocala. I asked her today if Adam was all over the store and if she had any flyers. Of course, Ocala is the last to get anything so she had no ads with his pictures yet. However, she did say that she got a flyer the other day that listed all the celebrities that had worked for Macy's at some point in their lives. Of course, Adam Lambert worked for Macy's at the make-up counter. I had forgotten that. It was something he told us in 2009. He was included with all the other celebrities listed.

I love "I Was Born to Love You." One of my top favorites especially when Adam sings it and flirts with the audience while he sings. From the first moment I heard Adam sing "I Was Born To Love You" I knew it was the song I wanted those who are precious to me, to be aware that THIS was the song I connected to most when I think of my love for this beautiful man. So I sent it out to my loved ones---just so they'd KNOW! And the JOY on his face when he sings it, makes me so happy.... I think I love it because he looks like he really means it when he looks into the audience. My favorite too Lorraine.

It is not a circular. Macys is calling either a catalog or a booklet. Most sales people do not know it is in the offices.

rihannsu - thank you. Adam did tell me "I never hold back" . . . and you remembered. But there's been so much talk, so much 'innuendo' referring to the aged members of this fandom . . . I won't go there again. No. NO. When I see him - more free, more joyous than ever, in the company of two men of my age, it reaffirms my fragile understanding, my real knowledge, that we all belong together. Front row center, balcony, general admission . . . it doesn't matter. I've been there; and I've never seen Adam look to the front row. He always sees beyond. Front row (or, close to it) can be for those (like me) who can't see far - but Adam's gaze extends to the rafters; he never looks down. He looks beyond - a hunter who captures and enraptures and we are done. He's looking for you. He'll find you and the devotion you bring to the performance. Let Adam devour us. He'll choose his prey! It's not for us to lay his dinner before him. MTM, I love you. I don't know you and probably will never meet you but I just love you. I look for your posts because you sparkle. Your loveliness and joy just jump off the page and lighten my heart. And I am not sure why! but there it is. Thank you. I love you too. truly love you. Because you love me. Adam would understand.

"The big difference lies in the voice of the singer, and it is because of Adam Lambert that the sound of the Queen is more "dirty" more acre and, in some cases, more rock and roll. Still well. Having a voice like Adam Lambert corseted and bound to be limited to make a copy, more or less perfect Freddie Mercury, was wasting one of the best voices that have appeared in recent times"
While I don't agree with most of this statement what I do agree with is the red notated part. This again is why I would love to see Queen/Brian May write for Adam. If he wants to do pop, Queen can do pop. I sometimes think writers for Adam underestimate what he is capable of singing, Brian would not. But.. but the "brain of pop" in Queen was Freddie, I remember Q3 said that Brian is the metal guy in Queen I have faith

Freddie brought most of "Stone Cold Crazy" with him when Queen was formed. It is probably the bands closest to Heavy Metal song. It was his signature song pre-Queen. Brian was more committed to rock music but not metal. What I have posted in that in the early 80's when Freddie and John shifted to funk beats (ABOTD), Brian and Roger wanted to stay focused on rock. And they were the two bandmembers who pushed of the return to rock in 1984 with "Hot Space".

"As for the Queen the exact words are professionalism, rigor and excellence. No one ever doubted the instrumental skills of its members, the masterly solos of guitar Bryan May, and battery Roger Taylor. The time has refined them and the practice has increased more and more the operative capacity of an instrument with which one lives, lives and breathes over so many years!" This is the perfect response to any old Queen purist that wonders why Roger and Brian are still performing! ❤️ I can't imagine any "old" Queen purist wondering why Roger and Brian are still performing. The only persistent, tiresome purist debate is if they should be using the name Queen for a band with only 2 of 4 original members. That debate has faded a lot since 2012 because of the use of the + Adam Lambert, and because they are so good.
