So....we may not get a full broadcast of Isle of Wight. I don't want to have to watch on a phone app. Maybe somebody can cap and rip whatever we get. That Lisbon show kinda spoiled us/me. lol
Here's part 2 of Lisbon in 720HD

That Lisbon show kinda spoiled us/me. lol Here's part 2 of Lisbon in 720HD Even though the Lisbon file was MASSIVE and took me a total of 10 hours to download (with the 87% crap etc.) it's now become the gold standard and it'll be hard to settle for less. I hadn't realised what a huge difference it makes till I watched and then downloaded the low res stream followed by the 1080 HD version. I'd never watched two complete shows before first in low and then in high res on the big screen and it's spoiled me for life!

google translate: Brian May, your curly mane, unbuttoned silk shirt, black shimmering. They look like in the 80s. Oh thank you! But it's true: fashion trends do not interest me because they mean adaptation. I want to adapt myself to anyone, but be genuine and unmistakable. Ironically, I have just published a book about crinolines. Why interesting ancient women underwear for anything in the world? Crinolines are much more than underwear, they were an important social phenomenon and gave women the first status and prestige. And they look good: At the book launch my daughter Emily was stunning as crinoline model.
Her youngest daughter Emily is my age. Hear it Queen? Yes, she is a big fan! Since I've been lucky again. Many young adults around me know by heart tens Queen songs. How do you explain yourself this perseverance? Maybe the songs are simply good! One possible explanation: They do not act on how it is to be a rock star. It's about dreams, fears and goals of ordinary people. So found about "We will rock you" or "We Are the Champions" in the way football or rugby stadiums and part of everyday life of many people. Somehow it is also shocking that we are still so present.
There are also countless Queen cover bands. Feel - without Freddie Mercury and instead with Adam Lambert as the new singer on stage - not sometimes like any cover band? No. Adam is a gift from God, he can perform all our songs beautifully. I find that I have never been so good at the guitar as now - Queen is better than ever!
Better than ever with Adam Lambert? When Freddie could hear the ... Oh, he was very excited and the first one would say that Adam is the best and only worthy interpreter of our material. The best part: We show on stage Einspieler Freddie via video, it feels almost as if he were there.
How do you keep up with almost 70 fit for her stage? I am very bad at it, hardly do sports. I only go to the physiotherapy for my artificial knee. I should really start to work out a little bit, you're right. My fitness training is my life, I am always on the move and have many interests. That keeps me fit well in the head.
Do you want to play 80 more concerts? Clear! As long as I live, will be making music and perform. Being alive without stage - as I would perish.
Well, you could simply spending time with your wife Anita Dobson (67) enjoy. Bars you could determine that. I thought I could do it. But it's not about money, it never went with me. I was as happy as a student, when I have eaten fish from a bag. I was never envious of others. We later well deserved, clearly. But it was about something else: follow our dream and create something wonderful. I am privileged that I can still make music at my age, that as our health. "Do I really still be Queen?" - Of course I wonder sometimes. But then I reflect the past three years with Adam and Roger and white: I want! And people want also that we make it.
That's true! On June 17, you meet on "Rock the Ring" on in Hinwil. How is it for you to play in Switzerland? It is always very special. Such a large part of our lives took place in Switzerland. I would like to come more often, especially Montreux I miss, it is a magical place.
What role did the time in Montreux for your music? Our last recordings with Freddie originated in Montreux, it was a place of peace for us. When the media realized that Freddie was sick, they shot him in England even through the bathroom window. In Switzerland you something does not happen! People respect you and your privacy. Nowhere else we could move as freely, just go eat at a restaurant. There were very precious for us moments. Freddie was already very ill, but in our small Swiss cocoon we were still very happy and productive. Freddie was aware that he would die soon and therefore wanted to or leave as many songs.
Repent something in your life? I regret that I was long rather narrow-minded and selfish. I hated politics, did not care for the world but for me and my music. I closed my eyes to many things, read any newspaper, did not understand what was happening in the world. With Queen we do not really live in the real world - that I regret.
What in your life are you most proud of? Of course I am proud of our success, "We will rock you" will eventually stand on my grave stone. But lately there are more to transform my attempts the world a better place, that fill me with pride. Before I die, I use all my energy to move people to a more respectful treatment of animals. I am often present in Parliament and put there as a lobbyist my position before. I also own animal reception center in Surrey. There we really tackle, save foxes or deer and bring them back into the wild.
Then you are determined vegetarians. Yes, and I have tried for years to be vegan, but never quite make it. I am not a fanatic. Let's talk finally over a major theme: God. Believe as a scientist with a doctorate in astrophysics really in God? I am certainly not an atheist. One can not scientifically refute the existent of God. Therefore: I think up there, there could be a God in some form. But we ignorant people have no idea how or what God might be just.
