I'm so embarrassed. Apologies to kryptoman. Thanks for letting me know, rihannsu - I fixed my mistake. In my defence, I switched to Windows 10 yesterday and I'm fighting the urge to throw my laptop out the window (pun intended). Windows in my laptop keep on asking me to upgrade it to windows 10 and I keep on denying it. I keep having the same on my PC, which is almost 7 years old... Really afraid to let it update and then find out I need to update BIOS, drivers, etc. sooner or later I won't have a chance to tell it not to update... Maybe time to buy an Apple computer.

Windows in my laptop keep on asking me to upgrade it to windows 10 and I keep on denying it. I kept on postponing for a year, a few weeks ago I upgraded two desktops, an ancient laptop and a Surface Pro 2 to Windows 10. My wife's two laptops were already on Win10. I am totally loving it on every single one of them. The memory management is amazing, on the desktop machine I use for visiting this forum, it feels like I doubled my memory Several 3D applications, Photoshop, MS Office, 24 Chrome tabs running and I still have plenty of room for more... Win 7 would have given up already. YMMV. By "ancient," do you mean 2009 or before? I just keep remembering the last time we tried to upgrade a component in an older computer, it just led to too many pieces needing to upgrade...

Windows in my laptop keep on asking me to upgrade it to windows 10 and I keep on denying it. Are you running Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 now? Windows 10 is supposed to be better than 8 & 8.1. But Windows 7 is still very nice. Used to have 7 on a desktop but switched to a laptop which came with 8 installed on it. Hated 8 but eventually learned to live with it. My tech expert (son) said if Windows 10 was driving me crazy, he would install W7 instead. At least I have what's most important - Atop - that would be the last straw. My son's going to help me with my list of questions - I'm up to #13 so far. He's a good kid. I'm constantly in awe of the folks on this forum who are so tech savvy. My idea of progress was when IBM came out with a correctable typewriter. Try not to laugh so hard, eh? Besides, it's hard to learn something new when the temperature is 97 degrees (that's 36 celsius). Tomorrow, we'll hit 100 with the humidex!

23 iconic rock bands spanning four decades who are still on the go today
22:32, 28 MAY 2016 UPDATED 22:32, 28 MAY 2016 BY DAVID WOODE The wild stories of sex, drugs and scandal haven't split these these legendary bands up. Well, not permanently anyway...
QAL mention
QueenLed by flamboyant Freddie Mercury, Queen became one of the world’s most loved and respected acts. They formed in London in 1970 after guitarist Brian May placed an ad. Drummer Roger Taylor was the first to sign up. Bassist John Deacon and Freddie completed the line-up. Adam Lambert stepped into the late Freddie Mercury's role and Queen have continued to tour
Their early singles charted high but it was Bohemian Rhapsody in 1975 that changed everything. It popularised the music video, spent nine weeks at No1 and went on to sell 6.5million copies. Their 1981 Greatest Hits album has sold 6.1 million and is the UK’s biggest selling album of all time. In 1985, their Live Aid set was beamed to 1.9 billion viewers and is seen as one of the greatest performances in rock history. But tragedy struck in 1991 when Freddie revealed he had Aids and died from complications the next day. He was 45. A tribute concert saw Elton John, George Michael and Axl Rose salute the showman. Queen have continued to tour, with ex-Free singer Paul Rodgers and American Idol winner Adam Lambert.
