I can't remember if this was posted already - my apologies if this is a repeat. FULL KOLN SHOW in HD with some pre-show footage. I missed Dr. Bri's solo yesterday...well...well...as a gift to Germany - Beethoven's 5th at 1:26:20 - AWESOME! www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGtLApt74mkETA: I see pi brought it here 5 hours ago! I am leaving the post as I want to point out Bri's solo...

I'm curious why QAL didn't sell out Cologne, some saying far from selling out, many empty seats, etc, especially since this was their only show in Germany... is Queen not as big in Germany as other places in Europe? Is it QAL fatigue? Or something else? Similar question was brought up by cassie a few concerts ago about reports that some of the concerts were not selling well, but no one responded, so thought I'd ask again. Given the weather I wouldn't judge degree of sales by empty seats. Some of those seats might have sold but been empty due to people choosing not to brave the weather. The Cologne stadium is huge. It holds over 50K! So even if it looks half full, that would be 25K plus there. Reviews say 25K. I don't see anything wrong with that! Besides the huge festivals, like RIR, Summer Sonic, etc., I think that might be one their largest audiences.

I read somewhere that the concert yesterday was sold out, I don't know is this information was wrong or is the weather to blame for the less turn out.

Great sound on this. Has anyone ripped the audio from this? Hope this stays up long enough for someone to do that.

It seems to me that the QAL reviews this go-round are even more glowing for Adam than on previous tours. We still get oblique "not Freddie" and "Freddie is irreplaceable" references, but the message is that this is legitimately Queen re-energized and in highest form. Adam is an amazing vocalist and totally engaging frontman. A worthy successor and a blessing that allows Queen to continue performing for a loving audience. Do I even detect a bit of gratitude that Adam is making it possible? Everything about the show from staging to vocals is and always has been first class. They Just had to give themselves enough time to accept the change, it was inevitable.
