Audio consoles aren't scary....they are much fun. Imagine bridging the gap between technology and creativity. That is what lies beneath all the faders, buttons, and lights. That was really cool, kanadie. Thanks! How many people do you need running the boards to record a song?

Generally one person will be doing the recording, but there may be several people once the recording is done and the mixing of the song takes place. Most studios that Adam would be using are equipped with automated consoles like the video I posted, that record whatever actions you perform, so once your mix is programmed into it, then it will run itself for the most part.

I love that 'back stage' place where you are creative and a huge part of the success and the creativity of the place....but not in front of the audience...your talent is a part of the production...and you have the respect and the caring of the crew but it is all fun...all creative...and you can use all your faculties...and you can make things perfect....I am definitely a right brained person but I love the creative possibilities of current technologies.

Cute. Bottom up. World domination! Queenofsomthin MiMi Ok, I didn't get kicked out. But felt bad for the teeners who did, so I volunteered. Time to go anyway. The kids are gonna party on! 15 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply Queenofsomthin MiMi Yes, now we're kicked outta of an airline lounge for partying @adamlambert's songs. Moving onto another lounge. But gotta get to Copenhagen! 24 minutes ago Queenofsomthin MiMi We're having @adamlambert party in the ailine lounge in Amsterdam. These kids are dancing to Adam's Fever. We're gonna get kick outta here! 27 minutes ago Queenofsomthin MiMi The kid can not believe I saw @adamlambert live, he's having a spasm of the thought of seeing Adam live. He's an adorable Glambert! 49 minutes ago Queenofsomthin MiMi This kid next to me in the airline lounge in Amsterdam is listening to @adamlambert's "Strut" & shaking his ass off, haha! He's from Italy.

I down to you for your knowledge and expertise and TY for sharing with us.

The company I work for, provides studio equipment. My job though has nothing to do with actually knowing how these things work, only bits and pieces here and there since I work for more than 20 years. I've been to many studios and the process of creating a song is thrilling, I have to say sometimes even more than a concert. To see how a singer works with the guys in the studio and how they create the track and how this has changed through the years with all the technology that's been added is absolutely amazing!! If I had to start all over again this is what I always wanted to do.
