When I say I don't know how much of his [Jim Hutton] Irish Brogue he retained, I was simply thinking that perhaps he had been in England long enough to speak more like the locals there. We have a friend from Ireland, but he has been here for quite some time, so it is only some words or turn of phrases that sound even slightly Irish. Just as I know there isn't a generic accent in the American South alone, I know there isn't one Irish or English "accent"' etc..., but I don't know enough about the different regions to use the correct terminology when writing on this topic.

Like all of you, love the segment with James Corden. I know we have been noting Adam's mentioning on more than one occasion that he would like to be in a movie with music, and that for the Freddie Biopic, he wouldn't want to play Freddie but one of Freddie's lovers. At one of his concerts, he commented that the person who worked with him (in the capacity of voice coach given the context of his banter, it seems) had once said that he sounded "like Margaret Thatcher". On another occasion, he said that his problem was that he "wandered around all the dialects of England in one sentence". I am not deeply read on Jim Hutton, only enough to know that there is some contention on how he portrayed Freddie in a book he wrote and that he was Irish, nor do I know how much of the Irish brogue he retained: I only know that Jim Hutton was Freddie's lover the last several years of his life, and that Jim himself has been dead for several years. However, I have wondered for a while if that might be the role Adam would play in the Biopic. Of course, this is just me wondering🤔 And I know that I should not, but when I heard Rami Malic say that he might sing a couple of numbers, I sort of bristled up, as we say where I was born, and thought, "No, no, that should not be. If for some reason someone's voice other than Freddie should sing in this, it should only be Adam."😕 IIRC, the sounding like Margaret Thatcher quote was Shosh. Also, IMO if he were to play a lover, I would think it would be in the earlier years of Queen and someone random. So not Jim. ETA: I don't remember the exact quote from Rami Malek, but I'm sure he didn't say "Might sing a couple of numbers" more like "I will sing a little bit". Which IMO is very different from 'A couple of numbers'.

OTT but my little part of the world is experiencing highly disruptive, abnormal winter weather so I am 'locked in' and clients re-scheduling at a great rate....which means....I really need Atop to get far more active as I have all this time to read and comment...and there is nothing to read or comment on.....yikes....I may have to resort to housework or something and that would never do.

Some debate on twitter about whether these are Adam's lips or not. From the beard in the other picture I would say it is possible, but it could also be harvey guillen himself http://instagr.am/p/BQJ8vTDlMrC Well, Adam's pretty whiskery right now, and based on the other photos, and looking at the facial hair, I say it's probably him.

On the other hand, I'm hearing a few dissenting opinions, so I could be wrong. Kids seem to love Adam.

Thank you for taking time to clarify for me Rami Malik's more exact wording. Thank you for telling me that it was Shosh who said he sounded like Margaret Thatcher. Obviously, I completely mistook that Adam was taking lessons. Thank you for sharing your opinion of why it would be unlikely that Adam would play Jim Hutton. Over and out
