Gaga and Metallica? Boy The rock purists are going to rip them for this. Gaga looks hot though. As for Adele. I think she nailed most of it. However I wonder about her being off key. And needing to restart at the beginning. Isint that what rehersal is for? In any case not as bad as the Gaga Bowie tribute. No. But a male should of done it. Elton definitely. Adam sure. Watching GMs package. Damn the comparisons and resemblances are uncanny. In both style and looks. But I don't think Adam was ever on the cards. Don't know why he wouldn't be in the cards, he's a well known singer and a Grammy nominee. I just think who ever put this show together just didn't think of it. Too bad too because that tribute was not good!

Did not enjoy the GM tribute much. My guess is they did not put much thought in the tribute performances but went with people who were slated to perform anyway. Adele and Bruno. Otherwise I can not see any reason why they would think Adele would be perfect. And they should have just let Metallica perform as Gaga added nothing. Geez, even the Bee Gees tribute was lacking. What is going on with the talent they are selecting? Would not even want Adam up there with some of these performers tonight.

Yes miss him ...(my baby) but it was a weird choice of song to reflect GM...cannot believe they are applauding/cheering like they are ---unless it in respect for George Michael ...and not Adele. (where are our resident musical ears...was Adele flat on parts of that song?) I thought Katy's song was great and liked the visuals---and I did not even mind that she had her own voice doing backing tracks---as Adam has certainly done that too! It was a pretty song and Adele's mistake is forgivable but it was hardly representative of GM!!!! Anyone who didn't know his music, still doesn't. YES, Katy's song was great and loved the performance! Yes to all of the above and let me add - OY! The arrangement was interesting but I sure hope Adele doesn't attempt to release this "tribute" to GM as a single. How dramatic and jaw-dropping it would have been with Adam performing this. Gaga looked less crazy and frenetic tonight than she did when she joined Adam and Queen on stage for ABTD. That was really ridiculous, IMHO. Feel bad for the sound problems people were having tonight. Also prayers go out to people in the way of the potential flooding in CA.

Funny, I remember getting HELL last year for saying I thought the Bowie tribute should have been done by a male. So many people said it shouldn't matter whether it was a male or female. And now a couple of people are saying that the George Michael tribute should have been done by a male. LOL.

Uhhhhhh, this looks serious /video/1 Very serious. Not only the potential flooding, but that is the water supply for about 20 million people. :( I hope and pray this goes well for California. But have to say, it also exposes the stupidity/ irresponsibility/ craziness of a state to make 20 million inhabitants dependent on one water source. Not only because of natural catastrophes, it is also a huge terror risk, and the present news cycle makes that abundantly clear to many idiots out there, unfortunately. There is no quick way to fix such a problem, but it needs fixing. And I have absolutely nothing to add to either the Grammy discussion, nor Adam's 'valuable' Snapshat and Instagram contributions to the world. He obviously can present himself to the world any way he so desires. And that is all I am saying. Well, actually, I thought he looked stunning with that black striped jacket, and the ripped jeans were a contrast that made you think outside the box a bit, I thought. So, I liked it. With black, it would have been good looking, of course, but also predictable. This way, the mix was throwing the viewer off a bit, and I thought in a good way. So, I liked that part. Anyhow, I hope California comes out of this year's winter still in one piece....and otherwise, good nite folks!

Lol at the differences in perspectives...reading another board and they thought Adele made the night with her GM tribute.
They also thought Gaga was just wow.
Not watching...may try to catch some videos later, if they put some up.
Just not really a Gaga OR Adele fan.

Why Demi, etc for BeeGees .. so not Beegee... Tributes are not a Grammy thing.. Hoping for Bruno to do a great Prince.
I sure hope folks remembers Adam when they put next years Grammy together.. He is always spot on .. He would be amazing

It's not all about Adam Lambert. I personally don't think Adams a big enough name to do these things. I thought Adele and Gaga were both great. Had no issue.
