I actually don't care what brings him to a show like the Grammy's, a tribute, playing with Queen or plugging his own material, I just want him on my TV PERIOD!!!!!!!!

During Adele's backstage Grammy interview last night, she said she's a big GM fan and wanted to do the tribute. She also picked "Fastlove" herself. I guess when Adele wants to do the tribute, you just don't say no to her, in favor of Adam Lambert :( You know...I have really tried to appreciate Adele's singing and music but every time I start to listen to her I feel like she is practically screaming and sounds like she is really straining trying to get her high notes out. She looks so uncomfortable to me. I thought her opening song of the Grammy's sounded like I just described and I couldn't listen to her. But that is just me and I know many really love her and I am probably in the minority. I just can't see all the hype about her. But that is just my opinion.

I would like Adam to have a late night weekly cable show. Just a chat shows where he sings every show. And it would be OK it if was 2 hours long. And, yes, Pharaoh can be the show dog. And, yes there needs to be an awesome house band. And a bar with cocktails and smoke.

Adam was never doing the Grammy tribute. Grammys by choosing Adele is no reflection on Adam. A lot of logistics go into these decisions. I'm sure whether or not Adam would of been a better choice (he would of). Was really a relevant factor. I do agree though Adele sounded like it was her personal tribute to GM. Instead of remembering GM himself. Grammys probably in the future need to do multi acts. Bruno was great, because he kept it to Prince.

You know how you feel about Adele? Well that is how I react to chihuahuas. I just don't get it. I love Basenjis (my favorite breed) so Pharaoh Phox is beautiful to me -- and I can ignore his "lesser" side. But really I don't get it.

Q3 I really am not a chihuahua lover either but those two dogs looked so cute together. I seem to be more partial to dogs that have quite a bit of fur.
Pharaoh has such a personality and the camera loves him like it does his owner! I love his natural regal look!

No real reason that Adam would have been considered -- but too bad for the viewers because he would have done George Michael justice -- and Adele did not. Setting that aside, I am one of the few fans who would rather not have Adam do tributes like this. I want him to be recognized as a very talented solo artist, performer and songwriter. No as the "go to gay" for cover performances of famous dead gay singers. He has been able to respectfully make his role as Queen frontman not an impersonation because he is so different from Freddie. He is more like George Michael -- and that could be a bit of a karaoke risk. JMHO YMMV I thought that perhaps Adam might have been too much like George to be a good choice too. But then I remember when he did Faith, and it was Adam doing Faith, not a GM impression. Also, Bruno's tribute was fabulous & he pretty much tried to BE Prince! IMO, It totally worked. I figured out why I disliked the Adele tribute so much. It was HER tribute to George! It wasn't a tribute for fans or for the Grammys. Her performance in a medley of several artists would have worked. Or if it had been at a special event honoring George and that song had been one of many songs. But to choose that song, which was not a big hit in the US, then arrange it so it is completely unrecognizable...... IDK, what she was thinking. And what's with the awful starts of her songs for 2 years in a row now? What is that all about?! IDGI! I think the moral of the story, for Grammy, should be that tributes should be done by multiple performers. Remember last year in the lead-up to the Bowie tribute, many people were saying she'd make it all about herself... Well, whether Adele tries to make things all about herself or she's a victim of circumstances, that's what I see happening with her! All the news today is about Adele. George Michael is an afterthought (and what about David Bowie's five awards?) That, and she is certainly developing a history of blowing it on these live performances. What are her live shows like?
