This one just cracks me up! Andrew Morris @andrew_Morris13 Brilliant what a way to remember George Michael. Get Chris Martin to murder one of his songs. 😤 #brits2017 #GeorgeMichael **** Perhaps the best think that could ever happen for Adam is that he is never asked to do the tribute and becomes the person who should have been asked to do it. These tributes almost always are disappointing. Every now and then someone actually pulls it off but that seems to be the exception. That said, whoever thought Chris Martin should do a duet with George Michael recordings really must have not been thinking about it at all. www.nme.com/news/music/watch-coldplays-chris-martin-perform-george-michael-tribute-brit-awards-2017-1986424Perhaps it was the same person who picked Cold Play for the Super Bowl last year?!

They say no news is good news, I don't think so, I think no news sucks! Right now, no news means Adam is working on A4. I'm fine with that. All about perspective and attitude.

Nile Rodgers was on CBS this morning to introduce the new inductees to the Songwriters HOF. Jay Z and Max Martin were two that were mentioned.
I'm really looking forward to his collab. with Adam.

Sigh. I guess any PR is good PR, but, it does get tedious. I checked the comments on their facebook.... I know, I know, I shouldn't. As expected, there is a lot of Freddie worship there. And the expected amount of FLD, but also very positive Adam comments. So, let me make my own FLD here, and then state my opinion, having only seen Freddie in a number of videos of live performances. The question was, "Who sounds best?" I actually listened to the two clips they included. (Which some of the commentators admit they didn't do, as it was not necessary to answer the question.) Voice quality, it has to be Adam, hands down. First, his tone is richer, rounder, more resonant, with more depth. Secondly, Adam's voice is more consistent in sound, pitch, support, and sustain, while Freddie pushes his voice until it actually cracks several times. Adam displays more control, and more range than Freddie. Freddie sounds more raw, more edgy, more risky, rougher, which may appeal to some rock aficionados, I guess. They could find Adam's voice too refined? I also want to say that (please don't stone me) Adam is a more interesting performer to watch than Freddie. Freddie spends much of his time at the piano, which shows his instrumental talent, but I find it boring to watch. There is little movement or engagement with the audience from the piano stool. When Freddie leaves the piano he does reach out to the audience with energy and force, but Adam seems to be..... more joyful. He beams as he leads the audience in singing. His face, his posture, his movements seem to say "Cool! Isn't this great? Isn't this fun?" And, of course, I don't think anyone would dispute the fact that Adam is classically better looking than Freddie, and more graceful and sensual in his movements. For me, given the overall package of voice, engagement, and looks, Adam takes it. But, of course, there is no competition. Freddie is gone, but his musical legacy live on in wonderful live performances with Adam. Thank you Cassie lovely post. This has to be one of the dumbest contests yet.. If only they would realize that Freddie died many years ago..Let the man rest in peace already... while "The Show Must go On' I'm not getting involved on that site with another pointless debate about Adam vs. Freddie. I'll just say that when Brian and Roger say that Adam is their GIFY FROM GOD, I am inclined to believe them. They oughta know.

Perhaps it was the same person who picked Cold Play for the Super Bowl last year?! I tend to agree. Many "tribute performers" really get raked over the coals. But somehow I don't think Adam would take such a bad hit. He's just so damn good. Even non-fans usually acknowledge that amazing voice.

Where was the Adam part time wise? Don't have time to listen to the whole pod cast.

Even non-fans usually acknowledge that amazing voice. Well I think Elton John should organize a tribute concert to honor GM and have Adam be the main guest singer with other artist that have musical history with GM also appearing. And Adam and Elton should duet on Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me.J/S

I know Adam's wardrobe is often a topic of conversation, and he is always on the cutting edge of fashion, from the days of consignment shopping and especially to now, when he has the resources to go all out, as we say where I am from. He has the physique, the stunning looks, and the attitude to carry off his choices, and I quite liked much of what he wore on X-Factor AUS and to public appearances, especially recently. However, since it was a slow day on the forum and snow flurries and high winds are on their way, I began perusing older pictures. And damn: if this isn't rock royalty, I don't know what is! Please, please, please dress let him dress something like this on his U.S. tour with Queen. I know it is ultimately his choice of what to wear but I can have a personal opinion and wishes! I know that all the things I say at the beginning of this message are true. Also, in line with the recent attempt to open up Freddie/Adam singing abilities, I hope this is not what I'm doing here with clothing styles. But IMHO, something like this perfectly befits this awesome collaboration! ...and gives us something to drool about while we wait to see them this summer!
