Momtomany, my heart is aching as I write this. I know the terror of fleeing from your home as fire is bearing down on you, but my home was saved during my forest fire in Colorado five years ago, and I can only imagine the tremendous feeling of loss that you are bearing. Words are inadequate at such a horrible time, but know that I and so many others here at Atop share in your grief. I have never had the privilege of meeting you, but feel like I know you through your wonderful and insightful posts. Your poetic words so often express what I am unable to say in such an eloquent way, and I treasure them so. Sending love and many, many prayers your way. Dear Momtomany, I echo the words of animaldoc. Most of us have never met you in person, but we feel like we here are all a close-knit family. We care about each other very much. I can't imagine how terrible your circumstances must be right now. It must be horrific. The stories of destruction and loss of life are devastating. Please know that we're thinking about you and praying for you.
