Between The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood and Park Theater at The Park Las Vegas, the city is brimming with world-class headliners. Here are nine Las Vegas residencies you won’t want to miss in 2018. Queen + Adam Lambert: The Crown Jewels When: 8 p.m. September 1-2; 5; 7-8; 14-15; 19; 21-22 Where: Park Theater at The Park Las Vegas Cost: Tickets start at $79 Queen and Adam Lambert are set to rock Sin City for a limited time this fall, starting on September 1, the city’s official Queen Day (as declared by former Mayor Oscar Goodman in 2004). Originally led by legendary vocalist Freddie Mercury, the landmark British rock group showed the world that they’re still the champions of classic rock by teaming up with American Idol alum Lambert in 2009. Upon announcing “The Crown Jewels” show, Queen guitarist Brian May said: “We’re ready to take on the ultimate challenge … to dazzle Vegas.” Drummer Roger Taylor noted that he’s “looking forward to rocking the Strip” and Lambert added: “I’m so excited to help share ‘The Crown Jewels’ with the Strip. You’ll be humming them all night!”

Such a tease. While he gives us a real chunk of work in progress recording, we still learn so little, overall. He's so clever this way.
Again, I get the bluesy vibe that I love, and I love that I hear some gentler sections too, especially in the other sample, not only the one above, but then he right away takes off wailing again, and I have no idea where either Adam or the other guy is going with what they are saying or singing. They don't seem to be on the same page yet, no matter how much they affirm each other, it's kind of comical.
Cliffhangers......
And with that, I am leaving for my own vacation, unfortunately without knowing what will come next. Will check in occasionally, but probably not post much. So have fun, and enjoy your break before all the traveling to Vegas starts happening.
Also hoping that we hear about that Playmobile movie pretty soon. Anyhow, stay cool and enjoy your summer.
