I wish I knew what he's trying to tell us when he's saying (about the album not being out yet) "there's the business, there's logistics, there's the finishing of the politics, and so I'm working on it, I promise I promise I promise". Is he saying they are still discussing when's the best timing for new music? Is he saying the songs he submitted didn't meet the expectations of the business people, and that's why he's still in the studio? It isn't really fair him saying he wished fans would understand that there's more to it than just wanting to release music, and that it takes more time. Everyone knows it takes time! Fans are just frustrated that they don't know what's going on and what's the assumed time table. He won't even say what stage he's in. He used to say there will be some new music this year, but the last couple of interviews he didn't even say that. So is he surprised if people are getting restless? No label, no publisher, management in flux again? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Same song, different day. If this is true and his solo career is in such a state, it makes you wonder why some fans are also hoping that his frontman duties with Queen will disappear? That would not leave him with much. Will they really be satisfied it he just throws a song out with no support or chance for radio play. I hope things are not that dire and it is just a matter that Adam can give only small details just yet, even if some are unwilling to wait.

If he’s still in the 1-year or whatever waiting period between leaving one label and announcing another, maybe he’s just not allowed to say anything, including that he’s in a waiting period! Same thing happened between RCA and WB. There’s nothing fans can do about it. He sure isn’t going to say anything like “the label didn’t like what I gave them so I’m trying again,” even if that were true. The new music will come when it comes.

And if he changed labels, wouldn't the earlier work belong to the other label and not go with him?

He fleshed out a few more things about QAl and his own music. He's a delight to listen to, singing or talking. And I truly believe that he does have a label and that his publisher and management are ok. I think A4 will be great! Seems like he has a lot of new sounds in there. Nice to see him at the Simon Cowell things. He looks so damn cute.
