For fun, watch the video clips of WWTLF and notice how he handles the mic. There are times when he hits a powerful note and backs the mic up a good foot and a half from his mouth to keep the volume balanced and prevent blowing out the mic or distorting the sound. Masterful. I'd love to see Adam's segment get posted on his various media sites. Glad Adam saw that message. It still amazes me that so many people have never seen or heard him sing. This performance really shows what we have come to love for nine years. Spread the word!

You make a great point here. Rock music, rock concerts, rarely have such quiet, vulnerable, delicate moments as Adam milks in this version of WWTLF. While that is importannt for drama in opera or musical theater, in rock concerts it brings the energy down and practically dumps cold water on the dancing, pumping audience. We don't hear that dynamic therefore. It is on full display at this performance, and the arc and variety of tender and subtle to over the top bombast is very moving.
