@madmax Welcome! I know we don't want to go down the AMA path again!! but I've always thought that tumble must have really rattled him and maybe he overcompensated or it just got his adrenaline really going!

I finally saw the movie today and really enjoyed it. Adam's part went by so quickly but I loved it. I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned all the cat cameos! lol I'm assuming that it must be accurate that Freddie liked kitty cats.
Considering what the critics thought of the movie, the part in the movie where they flashed the original bad press for the song was amusing. I know that Q3 has mentioned what negative press Queen received in the USA initially. I'm certainly glad the public got on board despite that.

Hello Madmax! WELCOME! Looks like Adam will be singing a Queen song on Strictly Dancing. Why would Adam sing a new lead single in the UK where they don't even play his music on the radio? Looking forward to any Queen song that he sings. BoRap is huge right now so it makes sense.

Hi @madmax , and welcome! You have known Adam since before American Idol?? Which rehearsals didi you watch him in? I am curious. I love your post - it is loaded with exciting facts!! Cool that you approve of Adam from Freddie's perspective Thanks for welcome! Still shaking lol! I knew him through mutual family ties, but moved out of SoCal a long time ago so lost touch. Then started keeping up when saw him on AI. Just always so proud of him! He has worked so hard at his craft since he was a kid. Some might think his is all natural born gift, but there is no one else in his family who has it like him! If we could all have his compassion, work ethic and positive drive, the world would be a better place. He has been an inspiration for me to get over shyness, as he was also shy! Wow. I can imagine how proud you must be. Adam has inspired many but I haven't heard from anybody yet that he has been an inspiration to overcome shyness. He has come a long way - now I recall him saying that he is more comfortable on stage than in some social situations. Shyness related may be? I think that he has a high level of social intelligence though. Very good to have you here.

Thanks! The first time I saw the movie was on IMAX, but this week it only plays on regular screens. Thank you for posting a clip that has the whole scene, with Freddie at the end contemplating following Adam into the restroom. I've seen a lot of clips of this scene that don't include that. It gives important closure, making Adam's part more than just a celebrity cameo. Hi, this is my first post, I am very shy but trying to be less so. I have been enjoying discussions here for years, and other boards for years before this one. I've known Adam since before AI. I'm very proud of him. I had the pleasure of watching him at a few rehearsals. I also met Freddie, Brian, and Roger after a Queen concert back in the day, and a few times after. I join those who say Freddie would have admired Adam like Adam admires Freddie. Well that's enough for a first post, I'm already shaking! Hopefully I can make more if y'all bear with me! Welcome, madmax !!! And thank you for pointing out the qualities that I kept hearing about Adam from several friends of mine who have known him here in San Diego since he was a little boy. One of my friends has a son who was in Adam's kindergarten class---and knew him through his high school days. Besides his singing talent, which stood out from his early years, he was noted for his kindness ; he took the time to be friendly to those he noticed were not as popular---and always gave credit to others in the performances he was involved in. I'm proud to be a fan of his from the time I first heard his voice on AI.

Weren't there sone Elton fans on here? Anyways i found this beautiful and wanted to share it with you. I got goosebumps, it is really well done! Even more OT, but I know there are a number of dog lovers on this board. The other day I saw this French ad, and it made me cry: youtu.be/XW5-CQdmE_8The message in the end reads "When a dog leaves his master, it is not to go on vacation"

@madmax hello there, glad you posted. Haven't heard this take on the ama performance so thanks for sharing. Adam himself said that that was probably not his best vocal performance. It must be close to impossible to do your work properly, when you can't hear yourself.
Also, don't worry, we usually are very nice. I think the problem with our guest the other day was that it was repeatedly those kind of comments and nothing else.
My guess for the strictly performance is somebody to love. Do we think Roger and Brian will be there too, it is in the uk after all? Maybe tour announcements? Lol
