Keep an eye on HBO for a 10 minute BoRhap filler between movies. Saw one yesterday. And this is one of those "not gay enough" movie reviews and some of the blowback from fans on facebook. (see facebook comments by clicking on the comment icon)

I hope this International Palm Springs film thing bodes well for the movie and/or especially Rami going into the Golden Globes and Oscars.
Great to see the fantastic box office receipts for the movie. Thrilled the general public seems to love the movie.

Wow, I've only heard of two of them (Ariana being the other one). Well I have heard of Bad Bunny but how can you forget a name like that! He does a lot of collaborations. It is a bit scary though to see the competition that Adam has now and how the music world moves on. I hope Adam's fans step up in a big way when he does drop his album.

Some critics keep missing the point of the movie. Didn't seem the plan was to make a movie about being gay and all feeling it entailed or contracting Aids and the devastating results on so many lives. It was a movie about one of the biggest bands in the world and their rise to stardom with a talented vocalist and extraordinary frontman. Yes they covered Freddie's sexuality and his struggles with it. Do the critics think he was accepting of sexuality and admitting it very early in his career? Freddie came thru at a time when I doubt he was telling everyone who would listen about his sexual attractions and/or his relationships. Hell, a lot of people are still struggling to be open with their family and friends or public even today. Freddie may not have even shared a lot of that with his bandmates early on, tho, they may have been aware. They were probably more focused on getting the band up and running and enjoying their rise to worldwide fame and trying to get even better. How could they make an entire movie about Freddie's sexuality and what he was feeling about it? The success of the movie speaks well for the right decision and focus. When I saw the movie there were kids there with families. Husband and wives. I saw what looked to be several gay couples. A lot of women. On one side of me, a teen boy was watching the movie with his family. Everyone seemed to enjoy the movie. And as for the gay man being the villain, well there have been mangers portrayed as villains all the time and often it has nothing to do with sexuality. Lady Sings the Blues had the white manager making sure Billie Holiday stayed hooked on drugs. Everyone has heard how Colonel Parker prayed on Elvis. Avicii lived a real horror life at the hands of his manager and it could have played a part in his death. So I don't see how one manipulative gay manger is being homophobic. Some of these critics seem to think being gay is all anyone needs know about an artist. And once they know that, it becomes the only interesting or relevant thing about them. If they are good looking, super talented, great showmen or sexy who the hell cares? They are gay and that's all anyone needs to talk about or focus on. That is homophobia, imo.

I agree with your insight on the film.. The critics missed the point.. It's about Queen with their magnificent lead singer. Queen for all to see and hear,.. What the critics seem to want is a biography on Freddie Mercury.. That's another film!! BTW there is a lot about Freddie and his life on youtube for anyone who wants to delve into it.I saw BR and I loved it..Yesterday, MY DH and I saw Boy Erased.. Now that is a film about taking the gay out of gay.(conversion therapy).extremely Important film.I'll just never understand why some people cannot live and let live.

What I don't get is that they have to come back in every article to the accuracy and Freddie's sexuality. You make it about that. Not the fans!

This film is for any viewer of any age to savor the lusciousness of Queen in all its glory. No need to make it sordid and inaccessible to so many. I love that families are going to see it! I think it will win some big awards! It's a good day, Adam-wise! BoRap is doing well, which helps Adam by association. The Strictly show is on the horizon. Very exciting! Big show! The NPR radio thing should be very interesting. Adam looks very hot in '60s retro fashion. Wonder where Adam will spend Thanksgiving?

I have no idea about Adam's Thanksgiving plans....but my guess is he'll head over to Leila and Ray's since he just saw and went out to eat with Eber and Amy last week. Remember when he made that sweet potato dish? lol I suppose he could have family over to his house as an alternative. I know nothing...lol
