Adamtopia and Planet Fierce before it have always been 'free-to-choose your site name' places open to diversity in thought and opinion with 'scrolling is your friend' option available if someone is not comfortable or interested with a subject being discussed. I see no reason to change to an all members only forum having to declare your actual name. I wouldn't want to take away anyone's privacy by making anyone have to use their real name if they wanted to be a contributing member of the Adamtopia international community. Scrolling has always worked for me.JMHO

I think one of the reasons the movie has done so well is that fans of the movie understand and accept (ignoring the critics) that they could not cover a 45 year life of Freddie and his true self in a two hour movie. And while I found the documentary of the early years of Freddie's life fascinating and enjoyable when I watched it, I would not pay money at the movies to see it. And that Freddie tried to keep some of his personal life private while alive, I respect Brian and Roger even more for not exploiting all the details of his personal life (no matter all the criticism) after his death. They gave him the respect and a degree of the privacy that he craved when he was alive, tho, many wanted to strip him of that then and now. I think a lot of Freddie's fans appreciate that. I agree with you completely.
People go to the movies for many reasons but this movie seems to have hit the balance between an interesting movie and an entertaining movie.
I am also so thankful that they did not proceed with Sasha Baron Cohen as Freddie. It would have been so wrong in this movie.
I agree with both of you. And Q3 I am Soooo glad Sasha Baron Cohen was not in this movie!! In my opinion he is so wrong for this movie!!

I fear he would have tried his best to turn Freddie into a stereotype (on screen and off) or joke. Howard Stern and his ilk would have been in heaven. I wonder who had the idea to consider him in the first place?

I am not a fan of SBC and his type of wit and comedy. I am not interested in seeing him on the screen. But that is just me...others may enjoy him and that is fine too. But I am glad they didn't go with him and we got the brilliant Freddie portrayal that we got!
