Somehow, in a flu-induced state of confusion, I thought yesterday was pre-sale Thursday. So that was my panic day. My goddaughter, who is calm in the face of all technology nightmares, came over, calmly got me a set of tickets for Taoma and Vancouver through the venue. Now I am concerned that my tickets, bought at a significant price aren’t real, though every e-mail,etc... shows things that look normal for other tickets from the past. The only difference is that it shows section and row but not seats. So I am now down to the heartburn and anxiety. Did anybody else get seats Wednesday as well? I'm not sure how you could get tickets through the venue before they go on sale? Was this online? Because if so, it was probably some kind of reseller site that was posing as the venue. I have friends who thought they were buying from a venue or an official site, but were really looking at a reseller site without realizing it. If she telephoned each venue separately, I guess it's possible that she bought tickets, but I would be surprised that they would sell them before the presale. Both of those venues are being sold through Ticketmaster as the official seller, or Live Nation if VIP. Do your tickets say Ticketmaster or Live Nation on them? I suggest you call Ticketmaster (or Live Nation for VIP) in the morning and ask them about your specific tickets. Perhaps you can do this before 10 am, so that you could then purchase tickets at 10 through one of the fan clubs? If these tickets are not valid, you can probably dispute the purchase through your credit card company. Didilynn, Thank you, and you were exactly right. Luckily, only the travel insurance was the only thing to have been taken out, so I was very fortunate. Now, I have to enter the fray with general public tomorrow, but that is better than the alternative. Lord of this problem has been down to this year’s flu. Everyone who believes in the safety of a flu shot, take it becaus can see how this year’s flu could kill someone older or with a compromised immune system.
