Just saw Borhap tonight. What an amazing film. On so many levels. Cannot for the life of me understand what the critics are on. I get allot wanted more insight into his private life. But I never got the sense the film was being misleading in any way. The topic of Freddieās sexuality was a major focal point through out the film, maybe driven to the fire by that mysterious trucky š. But I felt they touched on it enough without making it morbid. They got the balance. Freddie was a very private person from what Iāve heard. And Iām not sure he would of liked to lift the veil so to speak. That press conference scene summed it up. Rami was phenomenal. As good as Bradley Cooper. I reckon heās a dark horse for the Oscar. I really loved the actor who played Brian May was the breakout. Itās uncanny how ouch he looks like a young Brian. From his mannerisms to his speaking voice. I thought he was so good. As was the actor who played Roger and Deacon. My fav part was Live Aid. Itās been a long time since Iāve feit genuine emotion at a cinema. I loved A Star is Born. Gaga was phenomenal. I think sheās going to win the Oscar. As was Cooper. But your vicariously connecting through these two character. With Bo Rhapsody. I guess their was a deeper connection, my connection to Adam. My Dad talking about how he remembers Live aid in 1985. Three years before I was born. It was just phenomenal. Bring it back to Adam. It just made it so much bigger that Adam is part of this legacy. In the credits where they showed actual footage. I thought chart success be damned. Critics be damned. Queen made a cultural impact at Live Aid. In the same way I beleive Adam well. Sorry for ranting lol. Just watched the film needed a place to vent. I feel just the same way you do! I saw A Star Is Born, too, and the performances were outstanding. Oscar winners, for sure. But I didn't feel it in my heart and my gut like I did when I saw BoRap. That one really moved me deeply. It has moved millions in the same way. And yes, Adam is a part of this legacy. He has made the band's rebirth possible. And movie has just made Queen even more in demand. And Adam is a part of that. Bravo to all! Happy holidays to all! I am lucky to have family and friends nearby throughout the holidays. And a special treat will be watching Adam on the Kennedy Honors Wednesday night. He's the gift that keeps on giving.

Agree, agree!! I haven't seen "A Star is Born" but saw BoRhap twice, and 3ku1, you nailed it with your "rant". Just an amazing film, and I too don't get what the critics have said about it. I was brought to tears during the film, especially during the Live Aid sequence. Adam has made me appreciate Queen so much more. I always loved their music, but never fully appreciated their talent and musical impact until their association with Adam, and the glory of seeing them perform live together. Yes indeed, bravo to all! Happy holidays to all here at Atop!! Thanks, Betty, for those lovely cakes and that beautiful holiday message.

I want to make sure I wish everyone a very happy holiday....and all the best for the coming year. I am working today and unsure how active tomorrow. I want to put out a call out to Happy and Fiercelier....with special shout to Fiercelier as she may be out of power and pretty stressed at this time. A major storm pushed through our area and took out power to most of the Southern Gulf Islands and the surrounding area.... Happy would have been affected as well. Close to a third of our island has been out of power for almost 4 days now and many have a boil water alert. I am lucky to have moved into town this fall so had power back early....were I still where I was the last 4 years, I would still be out of power as well as in an area with no cell service. As the power is out because of fallen trees, many of these roads are still blocked so no getting in or out in places. Yikes....so lucky me....
