Lol, I can't imagine anything more boring. I tried to watch an interview with her yesterday (just popped up on my Youtube home screen), and she was so boring to listen to, that I only managed about 10 minutes and gave up. I agree. Can't see this movie going big like BoRhap. No way. The director is starring as Celine...and to me she doesn't look like her. Have no idea if she can sing. THe distribution will be nothing like BR had. Saw somebody compare it more to a movie like Coal Miner's Daughter which was very well acted, etc. Linked to this post on Celine.....and whoa........good for her she has a 15 yr younger bf who's hunky....but she looks awful...could be 70 instead of 50. When too thin isn't flattering. IMO www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-6633071/Celine-Dion-steps-Paris-close-pal-Pepe-Munoz-enjoying-fashion-week.html

Agree. And I think BR was such an enormous hit because they had so many intriguing selling points. Freddie had a larger than life persona and legend that grew with time. He died tragically and too young. The band was iconic. The band reemerged and they are thriving, in demand and playing to huge audiences (new and old fans) around the world. Even some of the other big bands/acts don't have all or many of those elements. Zep. Elvis. Beatles. Aretha. James Brown. Hendrix. Elton. MJ. Celine. Aerosmith. The Rolling Stones. Johnny Cash.

And she does look awful, almost skeletal.

I remember reading there are several music biopics coming out this year: Rocketman - Elton John, a movie about Motley Crue, a movie about Bob Dylan, also some time in the near future Beatles and a few more that I can’t recall...
i think the BR success will generate even more interest on the movie industry side.... I am happy Queen is at the front of this wave!

She has a pretty eventful and fascinating life....not your ordinary pop star. If her life is seen as boring...that is too bad and on us for thinking if there are no drugs or scandals, it is a boring life. Her drama's were of the more mundane sort...but life altering and impactful. Here is actually an astounding tale of age difference gone well...which is more rare and encouraging than the reverse... I have never been a huge fan of hers but she deserves massive respect for how she has lived her life and stayed true to her values. WE always talk the talk of wanting more 'good' stories but if we truly want that, we have to encourage them when they come our way. I get so tired of "the evil that men do living after them'...with the good fading away..... Oh...never mind me and my endless pontificating...it is genetic...perhaps I need modifying LOL

I'm not at all saying that her life hasn't been eventful...I just find her boring as a person.
And realistically, I'm not sure a Celine biopic will make the kind of $$$ that BR has made, based on a dramatically mundane story. Although she has fans, so maybe they'll be flocking to see her story.

The article is from July 2018, but Shoshanna just retweeted this tweet: British GQ @britishgq "Pride is always going to be an important element, because it brings people together." - @adamlambert. buff.ly/2KxgtH4Maybe getting his classical tattoo he talks about. If promo not for music could it be for fashion?

Oh...never mind me and my endless pontificating...it is genetic...perhaps I need modifying LOL I can only speak for myself but I have never said I found drugs and scandals exciting. You can find an artist interesting without them living a life full of drugs and scandals. I can think of at least one for sure, lol. But I would think there are many other things that might make an artist fascinating to some. I have heard all about Celine's life and even saw her tv biopic. She overcame a lot to get where she is, and I admire that, but her life does not interest me past what I already know of it. She is very talented but I have no interest in her as an artist. We all like what we like for our own reasons. I'm sure there will be some who want to see her life on the big screen and my lack of interest won't make a difference to any of them.
