Another one bites the dust: I have a good high school friend (from SO many years ago!) whom I've been in touch with more frequently since our 50th high school reunion a year and a half ago. Hubby and I send out a Christmas "letter" every year with our Christmas cards, highlighting the events that impacted our lives during the past year. The one we sent last Christmas mentioned my QAL concerts in Las Vegas last September. I don't think this friend knows about my intense love for Adam (and Queen), but I'll fill her in a bit after recently receiving an e-mail from her with these comments: "I am impressed that you went to several Queen concerts! I saw them perform at the beginning of the Oscars telecast, and I am extremely impressed with Adam Lambert! What a powerful singer!". This nationwide and worldwide exposure is extraordinary, and it makes my heart sing to hear from people discovering Adam's incredible talent! Thanks for sharing! I will never get tired of stories when others outside of our fan bubble "bite the dust" Me too. I have yet to hear any comment from family or friends despite several being excited beforehand. With all the hateful comments on the video, I was starting to wonder if it was only us in the fan bubble who thought it was great.

There is always negativity on these videos and in comment sections. They have nothing but time and bitterness and hope that others spread the message of who awful something was as if others can't see and judge for ourselves. It rarely works tho cause most just ignore them.

Just flipped through People magazine looking for photos of Adam from the Oscars - best dressed and the QAL performance. Must say, pretty disappointing because all I saw was a small one with Freddie's face on the screen and a super tiny Adam and Brian on the stage. At least, Adam's name was printed.

Thank you!! I will play these two in addition to my Spotify playlist. Just watched this a few more times. LOVE IT SO MUCH! And I have to say that do like the more dominant drums in the video version. Gives it some oomph. Love the audio version, too, of course.

Ok, just gonna be the first one to say this.... Already tired of the Jonas Brothers hype...moving on. Although I couldn't care less about the Jonas Brothers, I'm actually glad for all the hype. It shows me what Phillymack can do and encourages me that they'll do the same for Adam when he releases his album!

I think the positive reaction to Adam's Oscar performance far outweighs the negative regardless of how the comments look. I think he opened lots of people's eyes for the first time to the beauty of his amazing voice. I think jaws were dropping far beyond the "fan bubble."

Adam really seems to have his finger on trends whenever he is allowed his creative vision and just to prove that's a reasonable statement, I found this article which does not include Adam, but ... Gradients: the colorful design trend aiming to soothe these anxious timesHere’s why The Daily, Coachella, and Facebook all use backgrounds that look like a sunset. By Daisy Alioto Mar 1, 2019, 7:00am EST Just look at the first photo, do the colors remind you of anything www.vox.com/the-goods/2019/3/1/18241592/gradients-facebook-coachella-daily-fading-pastel-design-trend

I guess everybody's perception is a bit different - I don't notice the drums as much, but I absolutely LOVE the gospel choir in the background.

Ok, just gonna be the first one to say this.... Already tired of the Jonas Brothers hype...moving on. Coincidence...or advertising that brought this up? Tonight a local weatherman (55-60 ish) --said ...it is so cold out tonight (-22C)--I might just curl up and put on my Jonas Brothers album. Phewwwt! What! Agree with above...Phillymack is doing their job.
