It is a rather badly lit photo we're talking about and we know Adam can change his appearance in a second...
After being jumpy the first two years of being a fan I've come to the conclusion to 'trust a bith' and simply take everything as it comes...
To add never did i think you're a troll. And i do understand part of where you're coming from.
Cheers

I respect your feelings, but I can't say I understand. How is his long hair disrespectful to Queen? Brian himself has long hair at 70 or71... I look at past videos of Queen with Freddie, and Adam is practically conservative lol. It's not literally the length of his hair. People seem focused on my criticism of that. It's like he's actively trying to sabotage himself (which he's done at times before.) Why does someone so naturally good looking want to make himself uglier? Actually I do think the red and green were ridiculous but at least I could see some kind of camp factor he was going for and it was kinda fun. Queen I expect camp, it's Queen! But this isn't that. Camp is not unkempt. He doesn't look like a rock god, I have no idea what he's trying to say and who he is trying to reach. What new fans is he expecting to make with this look? He's got new music coming out soon that he needs to promote. I'm curious to hear what the new music sounds like to pair with this look. Lynyrd Skynyrd? There are millions and millions of dollars riding on this tour, he owes it to them to look like he takes it seriously. I don't know how this will expand his fanbase in any way. Trust me, I'm not a troll. Been following Adam for 10 years and I've never been so disappointed. And I'm not the only one with this opinion. There are many of us, maybe not here, scratching our heads. Well, you’ve certainly made your opinion known... over and over. It isn’t my favorite look but so what. It’s his hair, and it’s sure to change again at some point. I don’t understand why someone would be so turned off by it so as to not want to see him. I didn’t like the gray hair but would have still given anything to be able to see him. Same goes for the criticism some people have over the beard. There are more important things in the world. New music soon, I hope!

I don't think you're a troll either, but I do find it interesting what triggers us as fans...and I'm talking about all of us as a group.
I find I've learned so much just being part of a fan board over the years.

I think he is aiming for open minded people that look behind his looks and like to listen a good and fun music. Your criticisim is an extreme shallow one. Look at Ed Sheeran fans. Do they hate Ed how he look? Every entertainer must be beautiful? Where is the fan to try someting different? Well said!!!!!!!!!!!!

His look is tragic. If he goes on a high profile tour like that, I don't even know what to say. lol, we are really going to have to delve into your psychic to figure out what triggers you about long hair. Maybe it's my age group but I've always been surrounded by men with hair past their collar. Now I didn't like my hubby's much when he wore it in a ponytail but he never did like the air force look he had to wear in his twenties. Our newish neighbors play in rock bands, guess what length their hair is. I have no issues with long hair whatsoever. Brian's hair is absolutely beautiful.

Part of Adam's allure for me has been his voice ,his personality and his gorgeous face....I miss seeing more of that beautiful face.. sigh

I think I need to see it and him in his natural habitat, on stage. Loved the silver (see how I turned it from a cold grey day in winter to a shiny precious metal ) hair and hate the beard, but still here and planning on attending concerts.

There are many of us, maybe not here, scratching our heads. Still an unbelievable statement to make. Why on earth would this look be sabotage? Adam has millions of fans who will follow him with any look. Seems ridiculous to think otherwise. He's in the music business not a board member of a corporation. I think attracting new fans will happen and why on earth would you think he doesn't take it seriously? Adam always looks the part and for you to make a judgement on his look especially now when he's in the down time before the tour is ridiculous! He will shine like he always does when he hits the stage! Yep, I get it that it is the music business. And I am a business minded person. And part of his job is to sell his brand. Put his best self forward. It's not the long hair that is my trigger. It's absolutely ridiculous amount of talent that I think still gets overlooked and it's frustrating to me when he doesn't present himself as his best self. Changing it up is fine, the sloppiness, I don't get. Unrecognizable at times. I understand that he's on his down time. But that's coming to an end very shortly, he's got a network tv documentary coming up and a big tour. Time will tell if he's going to change up the look before the tour, I am crossing my fingers. I already have my tickets. Long time Queen fan before Adam, I wouldn't miss Brian and Roger for the world, Adam's weave there or not. ETA: I remember when Rob Thomas got big with Matchbox Twenty. And he gained a lot of weight, looked a mess. He later said that he realized he just didn't need to sing great to be a great front man. That he had to present himself better to be a great front man and that was also the part of his job. Paraphrasing.

But see, "present himself as his best self" depends on which one of us you're talking about. We surely all have different ideas as to what his "best self" should be. The only opinion that matters is Adam's, he is the only one who knows what his "best self" looks like or feels like.
He also has a team of people, I'm sure, that will help and be in charge of upcoming promotion for his new music.
