I always liked Lyndsey's interviews because she's soooo knowledgeable about music, as is Adam...it made their conversations super interesting. Not a popular opinion I'm sure, but she is too Idol obsessed for me. I guess that is her job but she does not seem to want to let them move on. Even with the Jeremiah interview she had to take it back to Adam's difficulties 10 years ago. And we know the deal but Adam never made his loss about his sexuality. There were gay people on the show before and after him. I love it when Adam gets a chance for Idol exposure on the actual show. But she interviews so many reality show contestants (few are stars) and puts too much attention on their time on the show. She really ticked off Melanie Martinez from The Voice, lol. Melanie was trying to talk about her career but it kept going back to The Voice. And if the former contestants are gay that also becomes the emphasis. I could not stand that coverage of Idol, Uche and Jeremiah (and of course Adam) that she did with Jeffery. Cringe worthy, imo. One big HaHa. She does not seem to get the interviews with the big Idol stars like Kelly, Carrie and Jhud. But others seem to love her so I guess she is doing something right.

This is the video that aligns with the podcast. It was after the Oscar performance and before Adam hit the after party.

I am even more excited now. I forgot they did a highlight of Carrie's career when she mentored last season. Just think, last year it was Carrie and this year it is Adam. He is one of the Idol stars. Period. At least 4 of the 5 contestants, who chose Adam as one of their favorite Idols, are still on the show and will get to meet him. Laine, Wade, Alyssa and Jeremiah. Sadly Uche did not make it. It is funny that the only male winners who were picked as one of the favorites were Scotty with P2 with 1 each.

This is the video that aligns with the podcast. It was after the Oscar performance and before Adam hit the after party. Adam is looking good and he is quite charming and humble in this interview. I just realized that he has been "repping the queer spirit" in many more ways than playing the trucker at the rest stop. I am so proud of him and his spirit.
