Ok, I don't watch AI, but there seems to be great excitement about the Adam mentoring...is there usually this much advance publicity? Or is there extra because of the documentary?
I don't know what other mentors they have on the show, maybe this is normal?

Plus "Queen" week is a new concept...thanks to BoRhap movie. Disney Week was so boring and nobody much cared...but ABC had to do that theme.

I don't know what other mentors they have on the show, maybe this is normal? From what I have seen, there is always more press and excitement when Adam returns to Idol than any other alums. It could be for a performance, mentor or judging but he always just gets more press than the others, even Kelly or Carrie. But this seems to be on a whole other level. The BR movie. The Oscars (Idol was so proud of Adam and Jhud to a degree). The documentary. Queen Night. I think they all have made this an even bigger deal for his return. And he is front and center of it all. What a look and bragging rights that gives to Idol. Love it. Love it!

Looks like Adam has done his mentoring. Adam's in the background here. I may have to vote for these contestants who love Adam...lol Yay! Flowy hippie hair just for you! PS: I think that is the shirt he wore to the Vanity Fair party after the Oscars. I absolutely loved the straight collar, lace, and ruffles! In this blurry picture Adam looks less like a pirate and more like an Edwardian romantic novel hero.
