Did anyone else nearly die when Adam sang those several verses of "Love of my Life"? Yeeeesssss....meeeeeee I even re played his mentoring during the commercial, just had to listen one more time. I didn't hear his sing several verses of LOML. I watched the whole thing, too. He did say, "I'm going to sing along with you for a bit, " or something like that. But then they just showed him singing a few words at the end. Where can I hear him sing "several verses?" Did they cut it out of my broadcast somehow? I love to hear it!

Not just tonight. Every show is the same. Yes and Yes. That is why I was horrified that anyone would encourage her to wear that Adam Cape. Have they been watching teh show? Geez they would have spent more time on her than they would have on Adam. I just wanted Adam to have the spotlight this one night. Adam was a fantastic mentor and coach. He worked with what he had and many contestants did a pretty good job. People are praising him even if they were not all in with the contestants. But I did hate to hear comments about him looking like Billy Ray Cyrus. But many of the country dudes wear the beards and some with the long hair. Not a fan of the beard but I thought Adam looked really good. I'll admit, tho, I like the long hair more off of his face. And I would rather hear him called a pirate than BRC, lol. The behavior of the judges is one of ten billion reasons why I don't watch the show anymore. They seem to say absolutely nothing constructive. At least they didn't tonight. Some of the contestants could have used a good dose of reality from them. And yes, Adam was a good mentor, offering new ideas and daring them to take some risks. I can't stand fawning, over-gushing judges. Seems to me that after Season 8, they jacked up the staging a lot. Apparently, Adam requested some staging ideas for his performances that had never been asked for before. At least that's what I heard. But he just as the stage presence to consume any stage with a aura of power and confidence. He had it on Idol and he's been honing it ever since.

True, just a few lines.....I was just enthusiastic to hear and re listen to those bits as it is Brian's song and I recognized it was probably just an enthusiastic slip of " the tongue" that it was reported as verses. I wish there was more as well.

Well...he listened to Adam about loosing the guitar and it paid off for him. It kept the song in the dramatic spirit it was suppose to be sung. Adam's advice so far has been spot on, but I would expect no less from him. That said, I hated Jeremiah's performance. His voice is not big enough for that song. It is not rich enough for that song. I know we are spoiled by Adam, but the tone of J's voice grated on my nerves. Just listened to it on Youtube and a couple of his previous songs and I have to agree, his voice for me is just thin and there's nothing about it that stands out, he has range but it just doesn't sound pleasant to my ears.

American Idol @americanidol .@scarypoolparty is putting his spin on a beloved classic - can he listen to @adamlambert and believe in it, or will the pressure be too much for him? #AmericanIdol I don't mean any offense by this, but he kinda looks like a Gay Jesus LOL. I do like the Jacket. Good look for him. Streamlined, and Chic. @njlovinlambert: Haha! #TRUTH RT @aisforadam: @njlovinlambert Well, whenever we see him on stage with tight pants, we say, "Jesus!"
