Forgot about Soaked, one of my all-time favorites. Such a stupendously gorgeous voice! I have a strange relationship to "Soaked". It's probably the only Adam song that I like better recorded, as it became slightly too melodramatic for me in life performances. Can't quite explain it, but in general I can connect to Adam's ballads better when they are more pulled back and internal, similar to "Believe" or "Love Kills". Okay, I'm ready for

"Love Kills" is sepctacular. Wish they'd go back to it in the upcoming tour. Remember first discovering the 2014 version, chills.

Am trying to bring a tweet by @mariana20501 with a Michael Orland reply to Alisan Porter - but don’t know how to do it. Perhaps someone else can...if we don’t already have it. I really must make the effort to learn how to do things soon.

Hands down my favorite album, and hands down my favorite song on the album. Loved it at first listen. His voice is out of this world. It was kind of the precursor to WWTLF for me. I remember when he sang Soaked on the GNT tour. There was that moment after one beautiful phrase when everyone just applauded and cheered. And then it became one of "the moments" in that tour, when he reached that place in the song, He would anticipate the audience response and then hesitate while the love just washed over him. It was a really moving moment in the show. So many of those GNT moments are etched into my memory. We were just getting to know more about him, post-Idol. And loving every minute of it.

Yes...thanks Linda. i thought it sounded interesting. I did not know that Michael Orland and Alison Porter knew each other before Idol, but it looks like it was fortuitous that they did.

Exactly...so many intertwined relationships. Sounds like Michael was a specific coach to Adam as well as his more general role with the group.
