I believe Taylor's new song is the 2nd single from her coming album called Lover. Her first big single from the coming album is ME (duet with the guy from Panic at the Disco). Not sure if this new one will be promoted to radio like the first, but they did play it on the Sirius pop station already. Her new album will have 18 tracks, so probably quite a few singles.

Thanks for this info. So it's on her album and appears it will be treated as her second regular single. I imagine each of her songs are radio promoted almost automatically. Guess this one will be outfront along with ME until the third single is released. Wish we were getting 18 tracks from Adam.....lol.

I briefly read through the interview. Nothing majorly revealing, however it is very complimentary of Adam and all his accomplishments. I am busy this morning but can translate later today. Sizzling, I know how much time a translation can take, so I want you to know there is one already here: adamlambertnation.com/post/185652509439/full-interview-with-translationmore-the#_=_(The link posted by pi on page 2 of this thread). It would be great though if you could see if the translation missed anything... it doesn’t miss anything. it actually seems to be the original interview, written down by the magazine. It’s the German translation is a bit inaccurate in one or two places. I still like it. Especially the parts about Pharaoh. There is only an E-version of this magazine, is that correct? I‘ve never ever heard of if it. Otherwise I can go and look for it in the shops.

Ok, don't throw tomatoes, but I hope his interviews continue to be about his long-awaited new music, and not his 3 second cameo in TS new video I'm with you. Is this a special song and MV for Pride month and to promote the Equality Act? or is this one of Taylor's regular single releases...like off a new album, etc? Just wondering if it'll be promoted more and treated like a single or if it might fade quicker if it's only for Pride or Eq Act. I guess there are positives...at least temporarily for Adam, he's probably happy for any good publicity right now and association with Taylor, Katy, Ellen etc.....but I want the emphasis on his music in interviews, etc like you do. Most of the Velvet promo in EU and UK is already done now.....but I expect some more in NYC around the GMA performance and I'm sure ABC will bring up the Taylor vid....which is OK....as long as there's more emphasis on his new music.....which we and the GMA viewers will get to see in less than 2 weeks. I'm so excited to see these new songs...including Comin in Hot performed live on TV. Here is a good example of why the cameo is a positive; this is linked from the main page of a political website that I read every day. Although it doesn't mention his new music, it hits some important highs and will reach many readers who do not follow music news. Perhaps they will be interested in Googling his name and bam! you caught them. Also linked from the front page: This article has a photo with Degeneres slate.com/culture/2019/06/every-cameo-in-taylor-swifts-you-need-to-calm-down-video-identified.htmlAnd this one says, "Joining her on the three-and-a-half-minute video are A-list gay icons [bolding mine] including Ellen DeGeneres, RuPaul, Adam Lambert, Laverne Cox, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and the cast of “Queer Eye.” www.washingtonpost.com/arts-entertainment/2019/06/17/taylor-swift-doubles-down-politics-pro-lgbtq-video-you-need-calm-down/?utm_term=.77686b834fddI'm sure there are others in random places.

Just saw coverage of the Taylor video on CNN. They did not show the entire video but they included the part with Adam and Ellen. They praised Taylor for taking a stand but said some were unhappy about so many LGBT stereotypes (not the case for Adam and Ellen) portrayed in the video . And also stereotypes of the protesters. Oh well it gets people talking.

I responded to a friend on facebook a few days ago that had posted a meme about liking gays that were "normal" people (with examples) but not ones who had to put a rainbow flag and wear their hair to get attention etc etc ones. I posted that in other words she didn't like gay people. She posted back that she had gay friends and loved them. eye roll - I'm thinking of posting this vid in her feed.

I didn't get, from what was said by the reporter on CNN, that they wanted gay stereotypes excluded. But wanted more non stereotypes included. I guess all want to see themselves represented and not as one type. But the message was probably more Taylor's point and she made it. So good for her using her power.
