I'm reading the comments and the majority are really nice.. such a turnaround from not that long ago in the UK press.

pi, what do you mean by "turnaround from not that long ago in the UK press"? Am I missing something? Btw. not so sure if Adam leads such a "lavish lifestyle" as mentioned in the article. Yes, he has a nice house, bought an expensive car, and got that Oscars jacket, but he could be splurging a lot more, I think. Plus, he admits to "recycling" aka re-using his clothes, which I find pretty cool.

I'm holding out for Decibel Jones* OMG, I can't believe it but after all the talk about Adam playing Elvis (it's a no for me) I asked my child who has read the whole book and whom I have sworn to secrecy because I am only halfway through; if they didn't didn't think that Adam would make a great Decibel. They laughed and said sure, then when pressed told me that the book mentions Adam Lambert!!! Wut!!! I will take a photo when I get to that part and post it! Here is the cover: *see my previous post www.adamtopia.com/post/918965Great call! Cat Valente is so talented. Space Opera was optioned last year -but Platt has so much in the works, who knows what a development timeline would be. I’d like to see it go like “Good Omens” as a multi episode Netflix-type project.

I’d like to see it go like “Good Omens” as a multi episode Netflix-type project. That's too bad. I did a little googling to see if it had been optioned but didn't find anything. Using Platt, I see that it has been optioned by Universal Pictures and Mark Platt Productions. I like the idea of a multi-episode project. Whoever does visual and costume design will need to read the book carefully to create the very eccentrically described characters. I don't think Valente has ever found an adjective or simile she didn't like or could use. I wonder if anyone ever got a film part based on fan recommendation ... I might just look up all the e-mail addresses of people referenced in the Deadline article. I haven't gotten to the Adam Lambert reference yet and it just dawned on me that if Valente referenced Adam, she might recommend Adam. Who knows. "Good Omens" was absolutely the most favorite thing I have watched recently. Michael Sheen and David Tennant were incredible.
