This says he’ll be performing New Eyes on The Voice...did we know that? (Put it this way - I didn’t ) Seems strange just the day before his next song is released...

Make sure you check this video out. I started it and thought, "Oh, I've already seen this." But then I realized this had a lot more in it than the previously released version. Adam is so articulate. Such a great interview! Among many, of course! Can't wait to see my QAL concert in Chicago, with its whole new look. And I wonder what different songs they will include in the set list? Have to admit, the QAL shows I have seen have introduced me to lots of Queen songs that I was not aware of. We'll get the mega-hits, of course, but I think many of us are ready for some of those hidden gems from the Queen catalog that we haven't heard before. And, of course, I want to see Adam in some crazy new stage outfits. Eye candy!

Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy mentions seems to pop up every now and then and I keep wondering about the comment that Adam was playing Innuendo a lot a few months back. The first part of Innuendo would make a dramatic opening if it ended before the guitar solo. I personally wish they would go back to Spread Your Wings; I loved that song and hate that they took it out.

JustKaren, I've heard of those products you mentioned and I've heard they work pretty well. Hope Adam has good luck with whatever he uses. I'm just think that sweating like crazy up on stage might be a challenge for him, esp. expending so much energy in some pretty wacky clothes.
Love the promo stuff from RuPaul's new show. Adam is in some high-end company with the guest list. Wonder which episode he will be on? Hope we hear soon. I love RuPaul. I remember him from years ago, doing some radio, etc. just getting himself started. He's so smart and fun.

German poster for PlayMobil: Maurissa Horwitz @maurissa_Edits My favorite squirrel made the latest international poster for @playmobilmovie in Germany! This really captures the fun energy of our movie. Can't wait to see what @stxent comes up with for the US! #playmobilthemovie #playmobilderfilm

That Variety article was good. But I wonder why no one ever addresses radio play. I would think that would be the biggest roadblock for most LGBT artists in the US. It is hard to become a big star without a lot of it, unless you are a rapper putting up crazy streaming numbers. Thankfully Adam had enough of it to go with his in demand status and media interest. But he has never had a ton of radio play, in the US, since WWFM. And it was not because his songs were not good enough, lol. He managed to do very well anyway but things could have been a lot better with more radio support. I guess when singers make the radio station promo rounds, it's just understood that they are promoting their music in order to get radio play. All the radio interviewers know that. But we all know that just having a fun conversation with a DJ doesn't automatically turn into radio play. It's kind of an "elephant in the room" topic. A singer can't just say, "Ok, so we've had a fun chat and you seem to like me and now you're going to play my song a lot on your radio station, right?" Of course not. It would be great if it worked that way. Adam seems to do better in the foreign markets. It's the US that is asleep at the wheel, radio-wise. And as you said, his songs are plenty good enough and he's managed to plow forward despite sparse radio play. The only thing to do is look forward, not back, and keep supporting each song. Because he's worth it.

IDT it will be on widespread Fox Stations...like mine. I'll prob have to catch it another way.

Adam didn't say he wasn't using deodorant ... I think I heard him say he had switched to Crystal, which is a natural deodorant, no aluminums, etc. (TMI here) I made the switch several years ago, and what a difference! I use the solid stick and apply to wet underarms after I shower. It lasts longer (no getting smelly by the end of the day, or even the next day)! It's not an antiperspirant, but even when you perspire it doesn't leave odor or stains on your clothes. My whole family and many of my friends have also made the switch. And it's way cheaper ... $7 for the little travel size that lasts me a year! Check it out on Amazon. (No, I don't work for Crystal! LOL) Yep. I'm pretty sure Adam knows what will work best for him and will not run into any big problems re his smell status, lol.

Adam's not going after the numbers or the ranking but for the enjoyment of creating and sharing music. But your point about non-US markets it makes sense that he did the UK and Australia for promo. The tie-in between QAL and solo in Australia is tight, and for the UK Queen's humunganous is a continuing enticement to taste the solo. It will probably be the 3rd single, after US QAL that he looks to promote in the US.
