Last nite Javi posted a pick in the dark which appeared to be an Uber returning them home after OAL rehearsals. Looks like now he or they are headed back today. He also posted a pic of Mallorca saying he misses the heat, the water and his friends. Been wondering a bit about how Javi will handle Adam's tours, etc. over the long haul. He is between jobs right now but seems to intend to become employed again before too long. I'm sure he misses home and his friends, etc. He'll definitely have to make mental and emotional adjustments to a new job at some point and also to having Adam gone for periods of time when he cannot come along. Well, that's what real life is all about. Being in a partnership with someone and being independent at the same time. Just gotta work it out. This whole celeb life with Adam thing has got to be quite a novelty, but then real life eventually sets in. That's when relationships really get tested. Not always easy.

Hahaha, yes, when I saw this snippet, it also immediately reminded me of the GNT performance of "Strut", where Adam accidentally dropped his cane!

QAL will be playing Nashville August 15th. For those of you who have previously waited until the last minute to buy tickets (in the hopes that good seats are released just before the concert date) - do you remember when they were released? Days before? Is it announced somewhere? Did you check at the actual ticket office? If I can get my hands on reasonably priced tickets this go around, I may go. I've had excellent seats for two different tours and was not that motivated to spend as much this time. Thought I'd try the last minute "thing" that seems to work out for some people. I'm not going to be crushed if I can't land a deal, although I do find myself really, really, really hoping that this strategy comes through for me. (Aren't we all so resolute at first.) FINALLY got to see a picture of Adam in jeans and a T-shirt. Just a little GUCCI.......so sick of GUCCI. When QAL was in Nashville two years ago I had a Silver seat about 6 rows back and mid row of Sec A. Got it on presale and never really was happy with it. In the mid afternoon of the actual show date about 4 or 5 hours ahead of showtime, Bridgestone released about 5 seats on the front row in Sec 3....extending it beyond the original first row outward. Front row did have 7 seats...now it would have 12 seats. My friend was just scrolling TM and noticed the newly added seats on the interactive map. After calling the boxoffice and were told they still had 3 seats, we dashed over to the venue box office. The price was phenomenal......seems like around $150. I told myself that it would be the quivalent to a Gold seat now in price...since I already paid for the Silver. Us 3 fans went ahead and got the remaining 3 seats. The other two Glamberts original seats were on the aisle on the Brian side of the thrust. They were unsure of which seats to use and decided to just stay on the thrust aisle and not use the wide front row seats. We went back and forth between the various seats checking the views right up until showtime. Sometimes in the heat of the moment we buy on impluse, get greedy...not really thinking it through. Anyway, I decided to use the front row seat...we had 10, 11 and 12. The sweet Glambert who had seat 10 gave it to me since she decided to stay on the thrust rail. Once I was in seat 10, a really nice big tall guy who had driven down from KY that afternoon and had noticed the last minute ticket releases bought seats 8 and 9 for him and his friend. He said since I was short he'd let me stand in his seat 9 and he would take 10 since he could see over me. That put me in closer to the center and I was happy. Downside was because we didn't decide where to sit until almost showtime...we didn't have time to sell or give away our extra single tickets. Looking back on it now.....could have probably done w/o all that last minute stress and mania and mad dash to the box office just to try and better our view a little. I tried pulling up TM for Nashville and it says no tickets and won't show the interactive map so I can count front row seats. Could be ...w/o the little jutout from the last tour which caused various front rows to be shorter .. that the seats are set and they won't be adding any more. From the look of the static map the rows appear to be rather full to the outside. This year we're front row at the end of the thrust....Dancy is there as well. They better not add a row of seats in front of us...lol. I suppose they could have held back a few Platinums that they might release close to time like they did in PHX, the Forum, and a couple more venues...but Bridgestone wasn't listed in that group of venues from yesterday. I didn't check out StubHub so not sure what might be available or how expensive. Anyway, hope you can find some decent tickets. Thanks for your insight. I was thinking I might drive into N'ville the day of the show and check with Bridgestone. One never knows.

Facinating! I had vaguely remember hearing at one time of a policy wonk who was seriously into music stats, but didn't realize it was Alan Krueger. As a numbers geek myself I love getting stories out of the crunching...and I am cynically not surprised at where those figures went in terms of predicting increased polarization from things like concert returns. The middle ground is getting hollowed out of nearly everything. Thx for sharing!
