From the FB post in the above tweet..
No one can fill Freddie Mercury's shoes. But tonight, at the Forum, Adam Lambert came awfully close – within a few atom's worth. Queen Guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor consider him a "gift from god," and said so during the show. Would you go to see May and Taylor without a front man? Probably not. Lambert completes them in an uncanny way that defies description. He has an enormous, off-the-charts stage presence; he blew the audience away over and over again. His vocal range is astronomical. And he's so damn handsome, you literally can't take your eyes off him. Longtime band members May and Taylor played their respective instruments in a way that showed they hadn’t lost any of their skill after 50 years of performing. May's guitar virtuosity reminds me of Pete Townsend's. His resonant, soul-piercing e-guitar riffs are the backbone of every Queen song – they rattle around in your head for hours afterwards. And then there's Taylor, who reminds me of a modern day Ginger Baker. This show is beautifully produced and orchestrated in a way Mercury would've loved – a contemporary version of the operatic rock & roll style he made so popular – though I daresay he'd be a bit jealous of Lambert, who's a monumental talent, with or without Queen.
