Adam never fails to amaze me with his absolute commitment to each and every performance. The quote below brought him to mind.

After years of viewing QAL vids with great joy and amazement, I was literally teary-eyed after watching the Detroit show. I don't know why it moved me so much. The whole QAL phenomenon is just a magical miracle. Really. We are witnessing more than just an average "comeback." This band is as on fire as it has ever been. That photo of Brian with his head resting on Adam's shoulder just says it all. Success like this is a lot more than just hitting all the right notes. It's a mutual love and respect and a passion for the music. It has all come together in a perfect storm.
I'm going to go dry my eyes now.

I think on top of everything else you so aptly describe, there’s something very real/authentic being said about ... well, life. Its preciousness - life gone too soon (Freddie), the prime of life (Adam), being young (and fierce) at heart throughout life (Brian &Roger). It’s a real “Ages of Man” thing up there on stage!
