From The Netherlands. I saw a tweet that said it would be available from midnight and because that always means midnight US I didn’t really get excited. But I was playing with tapping it anyway, just because it felt good to see a new Adam song under my finger. And bang! At midnight it started playing!! It is a big musical song, and really weird. But the more I listen the more brilliant it gets and he is So Good!!! Everyone who knows a bit about singing techniques is going to get super excited. Edit: although it is really different it reminds me of Herod’s Song from JCS, but then more full on. Full choir and orchestra in the background. Damn!! That man is made for this. ❤️❤️❤️ But of course! I knew you are in the Netherlands, but in all the excitement forgot that you are 6(?) or more hours ahead of us... :D Lolll 😂😂. And yes, 6 hours difference with New York. Just a few more hours now!! It will be fun seeing the US freak out over the song bit by bit 😄

PITTSBURGH MUSIC MAGAZINEConcert Review and Pictorial: Queen + Adam Lambert = RhapsodyUnforgettable. That about sums it up. For anyone who had doubts about Adam Lambert’s abilities and attended the show, they had those doubts quashed thoroughly. The key is that Lambert does not attempt to be Freddie Mercury but to honor his legacy. He puts just the right about of theatricality and small amounts of mimicry combined with an unbelievable voice that American Idol viewers only saw scratch the surface.
But make no mistake, this was not Adam Lambert with the backing band Queen, it’s more like Brian May and Roger Taylor’s show and Adam Lambert is there to command the crowd. The setlist was about everything a fan could ask for (okay maybe I would have loved to hear “Stone Cold Crazy”) and the production was unreal.
There were so many highlights it’s hard to pinpoint all of them, but certainly, Adam Lambert’s multiple outfits were noteworthy, enough to make my wife insanely jealous. When Adam appeared up from the depths of the stage on a Harley for “Bicycle Race” and camped it up as he sprawled across the body of the bike and belted out the lyrics, the crowd went nuts. Roger Taylor’s voice on “I’m In Love With My Car” was impeccable and reminds you how much he adds besides being a fantastic drummer.
The theatrical stage had many facets to it, including a top screen that concentrated on visuals of the band and the lower half great visual eye-candy graphics. When Brian May went into “Last Horizon” and his guitar solo he appeared to be floating on an asteroid as planets and stars floated by, giving an extremely surreal effect. Add to the graphics a huge disco ball and laser lights that really put dramatic emphasis on some songs and it was like icing on the cake.
A special treat had to be when Brian played a few songs acoustically from the B Stage at the end of the catwalk and spoke with the crowd. His voice is amazing as well and reminds you of how much talent was packed into one band. Later on, he was joined by Taylor on a scaled-down kit for “Doin’ All Right” and then Adam and Roger handled the duet on “Under Pressure” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”.
Massive crowd-pleasers had to be every time Freddie appeared on the screen in very tasteful moments such as “Bohemian Rhapsody” when a lot of the famous video was shown and of course the encore with Freddie doing the famous “Ay Yo” crowd sing along. There were also little things like Brian May wearing the ‘Frank’ robot mask from the album News of the World and when he wore a Freddie Mercury shirt for “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions”.
It was a concert not to be missed and certainly to be remembered.

Well, since Freddie is a pretty big part of the concerts, it seems fair that some reviewers assume the concerts are a tribute act (to Freddie), especially with Adam's Freddie speech. But I doubt there'll come a point where Roger and Brian will want to eliminate Freddie altogether; that would cause fans to have get angry for sure. Let's face it, for a lot of the fans, Freddie IS Queen, and Brian and Roger are more or less supporting acts. I'm not into rock music as such, so I don't know how big or small a part a drummer and guitar player usually play in a rock band. It's a conundrum, a balancing act for Roger and Brian for sure. Brian May and Roger Taylor are more than just a drummer and guitar player for Queen. These two along with John Deacon are a large part of Queen's legacy. JMHO. I don't disagree with you...I said for a lot of the fans...I see the comments all the time that Queen should have stopped when Freddie died...like Brian and Roger don't matter anymore once Freddie was gone. I agree that Queen was all 4 of them.

She is best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the American hard rock band Halestorm, which she co-founded with her brother Arejay Hale in 1997.

I think Adam taking part in this kid's movie, and having a song on the soundtrack, was a brilliant move. He wants to break into acting and this is a good chance to show that he can be cast in a project unrelated to his sexuality. What better way to show that than in a movie for kids. He obviously is not all that interested in being limited to only gay roles because he showed a little interest in the Elvis part. Of course, I'm sure if a role came along that he was interested in and suited for, he would go for it. But it will be good for his acting career to be considered for diverse roles and not limited. Matt and Neil and a few others have done that so I see no reason why Adam could not also. This seems a very good opportunity for him and I sure hope there are more to come.

I can't remember who it is, but I believe someone here has a "thing" for drummers. So here is a video from DC from the back of the stage, and one can really see what Tyler is doing during "Machines." Really fun to watch. And I love this "new" song!

I usually watch the Adam-centric vids but these are further back. What an incredible laser show. Definitely a suitable accessory to the voice in a billion. Thanks for posting them, pi! Still 2.5 hours to midnight. Maybe I'll watch them again.
