This is the second venue with uber strict bag/purse requirements. I've never encountered any problems at any of the venues I've attended. I always carry my 2014 QAL vip bag which is kinda big with my purse, sweater, another pair of shoes in it. lol. It also gives me somewhere to put any merch I buy. Of course, I don't mind them looking thru it all. I encountered similar rules at the Paul McCartney concert. No backpacks, even clear ones. Clear plastic bags max 11x14 and very small clutches. The entrance procedure resembled the security gates at airports. This seems to be the new norm. Well, maybe I'd better wear the sweater, go with a small purse and some small/lite weight sandals and carry a Ziploc gallon bag in case I have to roll up the canvas bag and stuff the rest in there...lol. Or I guess I could check the venue's rules.... :D

For the concert review from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, I guess we are back to the tribute act ("high-end tribute act with the two remaining members.") I really don't think that is what Roger and Brian want people to walk away feeling about the show. Seems a bit insulting to all of them and their efforts. Is there too much of a focus put on Freddie? I don't remember that coming up so much in their last tours but maybe I just forgot. And to be honest, I really didn't see anything "gay" about any of Adam's outfits. But I guess if he says it is then it is, lol. Whatever anyone thinks of his outfits, he sure looked sexy, handsome and very rock starish to me. At the show I attended, he just looked so damn good but sounded even better and that was pretty much all I thought about. The entire production and the band were simply outstanding.

Some venues will allow you to check them for a fee, but one venue I checked (I don't remember which one) warned that they didn't have a bag check facility so you had to give up your bag or return it to your car. Others may be more lenient and will let you in after a more thorough check, but to be safe I would check the venue website carefully for their bag policy.

Just checked Nashville and ATL...and Nashville isn't as strict....bag doesn't have to be clear, but shouldn't exceed 12" x 12" x 6". ATL same size but must be clear and you can bring a small purse in addition. ATL says you can bring blankets, cushions, etc. So maybe I won't chance my usual 14" bag. It was great to put a program in to keep it from getting bent, etc. I love that zippered bag from VIP 2014...it's great as a plane carryon...and wouldn't want them to confiscate it or me to have to go back to the hotel.
