They were out in public and dirty dancing...I'm not sure why that's bad. It wasn't like somebody took a photo of them through their living room or bedroom window.
No objections from me lol. I thought they looked sexy. ------------------------------------------------------------ I totally agree. They were outside with thousands of other people letting it all hang out. They were just getting a little frisky and having a great time. It was just a sexy cute moment.

Thanks nica575 and SophieB and svca ! This time we did fewer shows and splurged for better seats. I imagine next summer SophieB The Rhapsody tour will culminate in the UK.....for your viewing pleasure...lol In the meantime.......bring on Velvet! And yes, I'm tired. 900 miles is a lot of driving...lol. Only for AFL would I do that. Yep.....for my viewing pleasure and 99,999 others at Wembley Stadium I imagine. Still, we had three night at the Hammersmith Apollo - and nothing can ever take that away from us.... Yep...so thrilled to have been there when QAL was born. A very precious memory for me too. I guess the biggest advantage to the US is arenas....with floor seating...rather than stadiums. Wonder if the EU/UK shows will be arenas/stadiums or both. To end with a bang at Wembley Stadium would really be something tho.

bamafan . To end at Wembley Stadium would be wild...the event of the century....seriously. They could probably fill the stadium many times over. But just a few arenas first though.

My brother isn't much of an Adam fan, in fact, he didn't like him from Idol on. But he still asked to buy my tickets to the QAL Forum show because his girlfriend wanted to go. I couldn't go to LA so I sold him the tickets at cost, which I was reluctant to do for a non-fan. However, tonight he had me over for dinner and told me he had underestimated Adam. He thought Adam was really good, but still went on and on about how great Brian and Roger are "for their ages." The main thing that impressed him about Adam was "the speech" - how he was so humble, and a Freddie fan, etc. etc and addressing the "elephant in the room" - I guess the "I'm not Freddie" speech has some value, much as we hate it. My brother also said the show production was the best he's ever seen in a rock concert. I gave tickets to a few people for their first Queen concert this tour -- the movie made them interested. I heard very similar things. And yes, the "speech" seems really important to people who are casual Queen fans but not really Adam fans. It made one of my friends go listen to some Adam music because it impressed him so much.
In addition to the speech, there were comments about how tight (error free) the performances were, the production quality, and the overall attention to the audience and audience participation.
It's always great to see skeptics see the light, at least a bit. Adam is opening people's eyes day by day, bit by bit. I think both examples here of how "the speech" was received is proof that it needs to stay. We fans hear the speech over and over. But most concert-goers hear it ONCE. And it does have an impact. People expect Adam to show the "appropriate humility" about Freddie. Freddie has achieved a god-like stature and gets the expected homage. That's just how it works. Nice to hear that these first-timers to QAL really liked the show.

The video was taken behind his back but they were out in a big group of people. And I'll just say that a little mild hump-dancing is nothing compared to what I've seen on Dancing With the Stars. LOL

He is putting himself down to please a few and some in the media agree with him and run with it. Adam has been fronting Queen for 8 years. It does not take a speech to convince people that he is not Freddie nor thinks he is. Roger said it best, if you come to the concert you will not see Freddie. He is dead. And why does Adam need to show so much humility? He is not trashing Freddie or saying he is better. He is singing and performing and fronting Queen because Freddie has not been there for 26 years. It is a Queen and Adam Lambert concert. How hard is that to get? But Adam seems to need it for some reason. So I guess it will stay as long as he feels he needs it to get the audience to accept him.
