For me too, it was his voice in all its nuances and how it carried every single performance, plus his charisma oozing out of every pore that factored into my "falling in love with this guy" experience. 10 years later, I am still here I've only been an Adam fan for about 6 months...can't imagine what it is like to have been on this journey since AI! I've still got a lot of great stuff to catch up on. It's been quite the journey, and a "wild ride" at times haha, but mostly it's been really really FUN!!! So good to have you in this fandom now!! As you are fairly new, I would like to tell you about my phase of total "surrender" aka the time when I became a Glambert. It started with Adam's "Ring of Fire" on Idol followed by him going the opposite direction a week later when he performed "Tracks Of My Tears". Of course there were countless performances that followed and repeatedly kept me floored. I also recall googling Adam during that time and learning a bit more of his time prior to Idol. A whole new world opened up haha, and I can't tell you how often I have watched his performance of "Crazy" at Arts for Life. Well, 10 more years filled with flail moments followed

I seem to remember some hand kissing last time as well - may have been the other way round though! I think she likes him but who wouldn’t. Even George...whose Birthday it was this time....has kissed Adam in the past as well....LOL More.....just Google: Adam Lambert and Kym Rapier images Lol! Adam’s face! The only hand kissing I remember (and I’m sure most of us do) is by Roger on the B stage... images.app.goo.gl/jf7K9gyxbh9d4TGP7

I keep hearing them reporting on CNN how the Emmy's will open without a host like the Oscars. They go on to say how well it worked for the Oscars. But oddly they fail to ever mention that the Oscar's had a lot of publicity with them opening with Queen and Adam Lambert instead. There was a lot of fuss about QAL before and after and still today. Not saying the Emmy's needs anything like that but it can't be ignored with all the attention and excitement around QAL. There was a lot of talk about it everywhere. You really could not miss it, lol.

I can well imagine ROF as the entrance to the rabbit hole--that was arguably the most stunning performance in the entire history of AI. Yes, there are a long list of performances/songs that have floored me, too (going back to Mad World, Soaked, Cuckoo, etc.)...I don't know Crazy; will have to check that out. What fun: lots of old stuff to dive into, and more new stuff about to drop.
