I have a vocal question for you cassie. This last tour from your remarks and what others wrote it seems that Adam was in particular good voice and consistent. At least that was my perception, anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong. He even answered when aksed about vocal rest, that he didnt really need to this last tour. Do you think that Adams (almost) vegan diet plays a role in this? Next to many other factors like a flawless vocal technique and his vocal apparat being used to the demand after more than two decandes of singing. Some 24 hours to go until velvet! I forgot: was there something said about the release? Is it one time for everyone or midnight in each timezone?

Adam also said that he rode in a tour bus with 2 humidifiers next to his tour bus bed in order to keep his vocal cords from getting too dry. They may have helped a lot.

I know Celine Dion is all about humidifiers as well but i also know that Justin wasn't alowed to eat dairy on the day of concerts. It's more than one factor that goes into this but i was wondering if the vegan diet was one.

I forgot: was there something said about the release? Is it one time for everyone or midnight in each timezone? I don't know that the vegan diet specifically would help his voice, but, many singers avoid dairy because they say it creates more phlegm on the cords, and Adam has said he feels better now that he has eliminated dairy. More fundamentally, I think Adam is more careful and protective about his health in general, from what he has said. cutting back on the partying, less drinking, more rest, and vegan diet. And going by bus, as someone else pointed out. Admitting to being a "hypochondriac", which I take to mean he is very careful about his vocal health. As for him being in good voice throughout the tour, I cannot think of one performance where I thought he was struggling, vocally. Yes, he was very consistent. He also was, generally, less acrobatic in his riffing and supersonic high glory notes. He was, perhaps, conservative with his voice. I am guessing he no longer feels the need to prove himself, vocally. He is widely acknowledged as the best male singer of his generation. Brian and Roger call his the "voice in a billion" and have nicknamed him their "gift from God." He probably feels that he is great enough without having to add all the bells and whistles every night. He has the maturity to understand and accept that in order to insure he can give his best consistently at every show on an extended tour, he needs to stay within a comfortable limit of not pushing his voice. I confess I miss some of those jaw-dropping vocal pyrotechnics. I wished at the Atlanta concert that he hadn't opted to "Play it safe" with his singing. But I totally understand the wisdom of his reining in his "excesses" in order to preserve that extraordinary instrument.
