I am surprised at myself, - but I love Adam's falsetto in "Overglow".
I spent time listening to the words/message in the songs today. The 4 ish years Adam spent somewhat alone were hard for him. I guess the lyrics of "You can't Buy Love" are more true than we would wish. Many will come along, but it may not feel right. At his level of "success" he has to put up his guard to make sure when the word "love" is spoken - it means all of him - flaws and all.
He has all that money could buy, but where was his partner to share it with? I think he is there now. Just at 22 years, one still has real mental and emotional growth that will take place personally. Life is no cakewalk. Little did we know that loving Adam came with ups and downs and our growing also. It's called a real "ride"! Think we use to post the roller coaster during the worst/best parts.

That's AWESOME!!! So, who is promoting this? Just wondering, considering the independent label. It depends on Adam's contract but generally, with an independent label, the artist pays for everything. With a major label, they label pays for promotion then takes it out of the royalties, which means the artist pays for it with interest. Financially, Adam will make more per sale as an independent artist but he does not have the promotional force of a major label behind this project. Right now, independent releases are doing really well because the major labels don't control streaming music or YouTube. So for the first time in over 50 years, the major labels do not control music discovery. The big challenge now is standing out in massively competitive marketplace where new music can be a new release or a "new to me" discovery. So a lot of 70's and 80's music is big now and new to the majority of music listeners.

Why? Adam will be in Tokyo with QAL on Jan 26th. Am I missing something? I don't think this polls matters at all. But nice Adam is on the list. Sometimes the Grammys have performances from someone who is on tour. So possible to do a remote from Japan -- but seems unlikely they would do that for Adam. Although I think it would be great if they gave Queen a Grammy and apologized for being so stupid about Queen in 1976. Of course, the list of artists who never won a Grammy is more impressive than the list of who won. (The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Talking Heads, Katy Perry, Bob Marley, Janis Joplin, The Ramones, Patsy Cline, Beach Boys, etc, etc, never won a Grammy.) Yes, 50+ years later, and I am still not happy they didn't win for BoRhap.

I still remember playing an AM radio in my parents' house in Kearny NJ with Bohemian Rhapsody. My sister and I were tasked with cleaning up after dinner (no dishwasher). My father (well, rest in peace) hated what was on the radio, and stated that "it" would never last.

We as fans need to do our part then to help Adam stand out in this massively competitive market. His music is awesome!
