I have a google phone. It gratuitously tells me what is playing in the background - on the radio, or whatever. It's like shazaam, but not . does that count? No, it doesn't count because unlike shazam, it can't collect data on your interest for the song.

So many of you who have been here since 2010, and followed Adam's first world tour - make me smile. That first tour was extraordinary for the foreign audiences and their appreciation of his talent. That tour was done on a "shoestring" budget. Near the end in Europe their lodging at nite was beyond frugal. The audio for these concerts was very poor as the technolgy then was primitive compared to today. But we followed his every move and utterance. We were sure we were listening to "heaven". Remember the time at LAX when you tracked down where he was flying to by the taco restaurant he was at on one of the concourses. So I smile at your brillance when you are identifying, analyzing, and tracking info. The government could use a few of you. We must not be disappointed where his current music is rated. They know how good he is. The music world is still controlled. He did't play their game and that is why he is "Indie". I am so happy that because of Qween he is heard around the planet and financially comfortable. A big thank you to all of you who have been on the "rollercoaster" and made his music and career so enjoyable to follow. LOLOL....I remember Adam eating an Ultimate Burrito w Mahi Mahi at the Baja Fresh restaurant....exactly the same one that Q3 and I had eaten at during GNT at LAX. He had taken a pic of his burrito and we were able to tell his location and concourse and airline, etc.

Wasn’t SP sent to radio? Wouldn’t that be the indication SP IS the current single? Yes, it was sent to radio yesterday but only we diehards know that, right? Proof is that SP got four adds this week. However, if a casual fan goes on Adam's twitter page, there's no telling that SP is the new single. I just wanted to share that, and I do not mean to tell people how to proceed as fans or how they should set their streaming preferences.

I know there is no figuring out radio. But when I have said a few times that I wished Adam could get his music on the alternative chart and stop competing with the pop queens etc. The answer was his music is not alternative. I still want to know why others can get on all these other charts? I was just looking at the alternative add list and Billie Eilish and Post Malone (also rhythmic) got adds. Why is it that no one else has all these stupid restrictions about which charts they can land on? Imo, Adam's music can fit on some of these different charts too. They have been calling his music 70s style rock or rockish and Funk. So why not? HAHA. My rant for the day ] lurleene, your rant is my rant. Thank you. LOL! And Post Malone got some rock adds too. These people get all kinds of exposure on so many different charts by not being limited. I know Adam is not with a major now and it does not matter. He'll be lucky if he gets any play now. But I never believed the BS line that his music belonged in pop only. I really think that limitation hurt him a lot.

I read alot of frustration on here today. What the heck, I will throw out my two cents. Adam isn't stupid, he knows the music game and he CHOSE to do it this way, Indie and music he wanted to create. I don't think how popular it is with the "business" is important to him. The music has been met with very positive reviews, we ought to be pleased with that. Adam doesn't need to have it make big bucks. I prefer to enjoy this release and not dwell on whether the music takes off or not. We waited a long time to hear new music. As to Adam owing fans an explanation for the missed tv appearances, why? If he were quite ill perhaps, but it isn't my business to know why he cancelled. Adam doesn't need to share everything with us, we aren't his family or his friends, we are fans. JMHO.

Reminds me of good old epictetus (philosopher) the only things we control are our thoughts and actions. So I'm just going to enjoy streaming me some Velvet, have a nice vodka on the rocks and three olives and groove around in my PJs for a bit. Those are things I can control. Adam sick or not - not in my control. Adam cancelling appearances - not in my control. Adam's music on radio - not in my control.

I am struggling a bit when it comes to the question of who owes who how much in terms of fan/artist relationship. Adam's infinity tattoo comes to mind that he blacked out later on and the phrase "entitlement is not sexy". Does Adam expect us to support his music? I strongly assume so, as he asks us to buy, stream, and share his new music. No problem, I happily oblige. After all, I feel I "owe him" after a decade of great moments and more to look forward to. You are right, we waited a long time for "Velvet" and we should celebrate it. We were all very excited about the promo appearances, and some fans even made arrangements to be there for the tapings in person. So...is it really too much to expect or at least wish we hear from him after four cancellations? I think a few words or at least something would be a nice gesture to keep his fans engaged and make them feel appreciated, and that can be done without going into details.

We already know from 2 inside sources that Adam cancelled due to illness. What more do we need to know about it? Why do we have to have a conformation from Adam himself? If Adam were to go on Twitter and announce that he had to cancel 4 promo events because he was sick, it would be picked up by all the usual news outlets and made into a news story. Do we really want that story to over shadow all the good press about Velvet Side A? It could do more harm to Adam's promo of Velvet than Adam cancelling promo events and not saying anything about being ill.
