Frankly I don't know what they removed from the US version to make time for Japan version.
The running times for both version are very similar after the commercials are cut

The running times for both version are very similar after the commercials are cut I assumed they might cut commercials differently...but hopefully nothing too significant was cut. Would be great to have it in full on a DVD release from Queen..but not sure if it's doable or feasible with network TV involved, etc.

Oh, it said “transfer quota exceeded” so I deleted the file... I didn’t see the 5 hours thingy... It was in the "fine print"...lol. I'll let you know if it finishes up later. Normally, I wouldn't be so eager to have this file saved since I already have it in 720...but this documentary is sooooo good, I've already rewatched it several times. They really should put this out on BluRay or DVD and I'd buy that as well. I bought the documentary here www.musicvideoresource.com/ Product Quantity Price The Show Must Go On The Queen + Adam Lambert Story DVD (2019 Documentary) 1 $16.99 It arrived within a few days as I recall.

I have it downloading as we speak...s l o w l y...I guess if it stops, I will just let it sit open also . If anyone has advice on this...all is welcome . I am thrilled to be able to download this...I just watched it with a friend last night but that is from my pvr. Can never have too much Adam, y'know Well, the bad news is the counter is now reading 5 hours 27 minutes...it keeps adjusting....so it may never get to zero minutes to continue. That's their plan I guess to get you to sign up to finish. It says the DL speed is "dynamic" and depends on "how much unused bandwith WE have available" My 5.5 hours were just up and it downloaded the rest. Currently transferring the file to my drive from the cache.

Wow, so I just watched that Japan tour segment from the UK version of the SMGO documentary, and there is an additional bit of interview with Roger Taylor where he talks about how Adam is the kind of performer that Japan really loves, because of his look, flamboyance, costumes, and then goes on to say that the one thing Adam knew even better than them was how to perform to the camera. Direct quote: "He is sort of the male Beyonce of using a camera." ! Also, I noticed that the iHeart Radio Concert segment is a bit different from the US version - the UK version included their introduction from Mario Lopez and the song CLTCL I thought was a bit longer. Another thing, which I thought was done much much better in the UK version was the whole AMA thing. The commentary did not seem out of place like in the US version and there was some other stuff. I think they just moved things around to make it more seamless. Plus, in the UK version there do not seem to be so many commercial breaks, so the whole documentary flows better.
ETA: The UK version is about 5 min longer than the US version, so it appears the US version was the one that had to be cut, while this is the full documentary, I guess. I am sure there is plenty of more footage, of course, but for now, I would say the UK version is better and with more stuff. And yes, it is not censored, which is a plus for me always. I hate those prudish US beeps which seem to mask half a sentence... Just my opinion, ofc
