Sorry for a little bitching on my part, but it drives me nuts hearing Adam answer the questions in Englisch and the host translating it into German, also as the translations can be a Bit...adventurous. Not wrong but...idk. it's funny hearing Adam react to it since be most certainly can make out a bit what they are saying.
On a more positive (didnt mean the above negativ, Just a remark) Note: unfortunately nothing Adam related, but Tori Kelly is going on tour, in case someone was interested. My friend and i got Tickets and we're very excited!
I was wondering, in that one long Interview, where Adam says he would be more appreciative of his body, If He knew he'd never look that good again. There was this knowing, kind of teasing/mean laugh. Do we guess it's Shosh? Lol

As you said: nothing was wrong and they usually translate all of it. In this last interview the interviewer did it right there without being able to really think about the translation. That’s not easy in Adam’s case, because he tends to give long answers. Whenever I tried to translate Adam’s interviews one way or the other, I always feel that the German version sounds wrong. I think the reason is, that we are used to Adam talking in English, that the translated answers sound wrong, just because they aren’t in English. I can’t explain it better. I don’t know, how much Adam really understands. My guess is, that he can make out some words or phrases. But not more.

nightowl of course it's very hard to translate on the Spot. It can really fry your braincells lol. Only listened to the hr1 Interview, it was translated on the spot as well. Havent yet cared for the rest. You do make a good point about it being two different languages. Which is why syncronisations never work for me in movies/series lol

I just got two emails at 2:09 this afternoon.....one saying my CD is being shipped and the other one that it has been delivered...lol. I guess I have a CD waiting in the mail. They're only about a month late. Bet we don't get the other merch for several more weeks and then there's the signed CD which I imagine will be a little A L scrawl...lol. Same here. Two emails at 3pm today saying shipped and then delivered but it hasn't arrived yet. I don't see mine either. When you click on the tracking number it says "status not available" which means USPS hasn't yet delivered. I'm thinking it's just now being mailed out today. Just when I think Empire can't get any less reliable....they prove they have no idea what's going on.

Adam was super-charming on the One Show. He was elegant and composed and funny and just plain nice. I know I have no right, but I was very proud of him. He was on throughout the show. So good to think the UK has seen him on the last two nights, being so talented and beautiful. (Imho) Strictly and The One Show are huge exposure for him.

One more thing. About the pitch issue. The ability to hear pitches is individual. You can actually take a test online to see how precise your sense of pitch is. jakemandell.com/adaptivepitch/ Therefore, what may sound "pitchy" to me, might sound fine to others. Or what sounds fine to me might still be a tad off to someone with a more exact sense of pitch than mine. There are obvious pitchy moments for some singers that most listeners would notice and cringe at. There are other moments where some would say, "Hmmmm, it could be the slightest bit flat or sharp, but not jarringly so, and not enough to interfere with enjoyment of the performance." While others would say, "It sounds great to me." It is a matter of how minutely one hears differences in sound wave frequencies and modulations. Something learned, but also naturally innate. Just caught up on the past 2 days of comments and wanted to chime in on this discussion. I've been a staunch supporter since Adam was on AI and have lost count of the number of shows I've flown around the world to hear. One reason I adore him, out of many, is that he's technically a superb singer - head and shoulders above just about any other pop singers. That matters to me because, as a professional string player (with the Vancouver Symphony), I listen to music in a different way and there's nothing that I (or my colleagues in the business) can do about it. It comes from a lifetime of super critical listening to make sure our intonation is as perfect as possible - otherwise we don't get overtones on our instrument and the sound suffers. Not to mention we don't blend in with the other musicians. Like Cassie, I cringe any time I hear something off-key and Adam was definitely flat for a lot of the first half of the BBC performance. It wasn't major and the casual listener would most likely not pick up on it. That doesn't mean I'm picking apart the performance, or feel that some of us "hear" better than others - nothing like that. I wish I could just enjoy a performance and turn of the critical listening - but I can't. It's one reason I love Adam's live performances - he very seldom has any technical issues. He's truly at the level of a trained opera or lieder singer. On top of that he's gorgeous, musical, super adorable etc. etc. It's also why I go to great lengths to hear him live - like flying across country for one show in New York in Dec. He's not always perfect but he's pretty darned close.

Quick question about voting for the AMA's - I only get one vote per day from my desktop computer - and no option for anything else. Are the 30 votes from when you use other devices?

Wow! Im surprised what kind of people we have on this board. Isn't q3 a psycologist, Cassie is trained opera singer, now we have a professional string player...
