Just watched all of TALC's vids that they've uploaded thus far....about half and this show was off the charts good....best of the 5 shows this leg IMO. You could feel it even thru the vids. Small/intimate hometown venue with enthusiastic engaged crowd...he was feeling it right from the start. Loose, happy, smiling and confident. Add tequila and heat.....he was really sweating right from the start....and you get it all...the perfect storm of an Adam concert.
Like others have said too bad he can't do a whole tour in club venues like this one. Hopefully he'll throw in a few along with the theater types for the Velvet Tour.
btw.....was funny in GT where he said he wished he had long hair and kept pretending he was brushing it back and throwing it around. Also when he introduced Adam Ross as the "other white meat" and said it was a #metoo joke and he being an employer might get into trouble, etc. And he told the drummer that she "could turn him" maybe.

Adam had a mix of smaller venues (tho not 200-300 seat tiny clubs like most indies downsize to) and regular size theater/casino venues for these Christmas concerts. And the concerts have been wonderful and exciting and maybe a test run. I hope when he books his actual Velvet tour, he will be able to fill the midsize theatre venues like he did in the past, with the occasional international arena thrown in. The man has to make a living and support a band and I want him to make money on his tours. Tho, thankfully he has plenty, lol. So hopefully he has enough interested fans to continue to support midsize venues. I think it would mean a lot to him, after such a change, to know that his fans still support him. And I am confident that love and excitement for him are always there. Of course, he could throw in the more intimate venue when he ends the tour as a fan/friends gift.

I agree....he needs mid-size venues to make it profitable. I hope he does The Tabernacle like he's done twice before...you get an enthusiatic/loud audience with a GA floor and funky vintage club atmosphere.
