What a treat to have the TALC FULL SET PLAYLIST from the El Rey available to us in HD!!!! Thanks for posting bamafan . The person filming must have been pretty close to me as I was at about the same angle, but I must have been too enthralled to even notice. I hope I won't hear myself yell into the camera lol. Major highlights for me this past weekend for the upbeat songs were the opening with "Stranger You Are" as well as Superpower, Loverboy, disco Ghost Town, and last but not least Lay Me Down. I also really liked the placement of Trespassing and AOBTD back to back right at the beginning after the opening. It was so powerful and created incredible momentum. Loved the flow of the show and the overall energy and Adam showing the many sides of his artistry that make him so special. The ballad section... I am still in recovery mode... sometimes words just don't do it justice. I felt the "Adam post concert blues" immediately once it was all over, so to come home in time to see him perform "Closer To You" at the "Home for the holidays" special was a wonderful conclusion. I remembered how the young fan next to me at the El Rey told me how she fell in love with Adam because of that ballad, and how thrilled she was to see Adam in concert for the first time. Adam is amazing. Well, we all know that, but I have to say it again. And as we all know, even the best videos and TV coverages don't do the vibes of a live experience justice. To use Adam's words from the El Rey, I am not a religious person, but I do feel "blessed". For me, NOTHING beats seeing Adam live doing his own music and performing to his own lyrics. To see Adam perform for a full house in FS was wonderful, but to experience him in a rather intimate venue at the El Rey was probably exactly what I need to celebrate him after a decade of being his fan. I am enormously thankful for this weekend.
Sizzling63 - loved your comments on the El Rey performance - That's how I feel about his performances in smaller more intimate venues - two that come to mind are the Music Box near the end of the Glam Nation Tour, and the one at that sort of funky theater-in-the-round in Phoenix that I went to with my daughter
