Banners are back! I will go back and add the missing ones over the break.
Merry Christmas to all!
We have a part Jewish, part Christian family -- so celebrate both holidays. However, we have scaled back both since we moved to Arizona.
This is my first year giving people solely donations in their names versus gifts. If feels a bit strange, but in a good way.

Nephew and his wife did this last year...I thought it was a wonderful idea! Basically, we give gift certificates to the kids (they're all grown up) and my parents, they all give gift certificates back. Everybody lives their own lives, and though we all stay in touch, nobody needs trinkets, and everybody's interests change all the time. So I thought donating in someone's name was a wonderful idea. Lol, my Mom nixed that idea really quick...she likes getting her Barnes & Noble gift certificates, and the restaurant ones that she accumulates over Christmas, Birthday, Mother's Day, etc etc.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas to all you wonderful people here on Atop!!! And, BETTY, thanks so much for the lovely cake! This site is my "go to" place every day, and I so appreciate everyone here. Don't know what I would do without Adamtopia!
My side of the family does a Christmas charity project instead of gifts, since we are spread out all over the country. Everyone nominates a charity, writes a proposal about their charity, and then we vote. The winning charity receives all of our donations, which adds up to a substantial contribution. This is our 15th year doing this, and it unites us all in spirit at Christmas when we can't all be together. Q3, what a lovely idea! After all, Christmas is the season of giving, especially to those in need.

We've done donations for many years for the holidays -- so we just expanded it.

Happy Holidays everyone! soon Adam will have his own charity active! Until then and in case you are looking for a worthy charity where you will know how your funds are used - check out The Service Dog Project - they donate fully trained service Grate Danes to mobility impaired, with emphasis on our veterans and children. They have seven live cameras thru explore.org - educational and fun! Links to videos and live cameras are on their home page: www.servicedogproject.org/copy-of-donatep.s. I found them online a couple of years ago - and I was fascinated since!

Well, Adam will not be performing on NYE this year. But he'll probably be at a party. We may get some pix! I'll be with a few old friends, as usual. Adam can do the wild parties. I'll stay home and relax!
