I just watched the Idol finale from 10 years ago. Pretty crazy to see it now. Then watched a highlight package of Queen and Adam 2009 - 2015, has a lot of the moments people have been mentioning. Then a highlight show of the 2014 tour. Trying to watch a lot of this on the big screen now that I have it.
What a 10 year run it's been. Adam has improved and grown so much in all that time. He's now the consummate performer yet when you watch this older stuff it's there. It's all the Adam we know and love. I'm speechless to think of what the next 10 could hold.
I hope all his dreams come true wherever they haven't already!š¤©

Fav Adam Solo Moment?
His run on American idol. It changed the landscape of popular culture for ever. He was a trailblazer for lgbqt Artists everywhere. Did for Lgbqt what MJ did for African American Artists. In fact my fav Adam moment was the AMAs haha.
QAL? I heart radio.

There have been so many exciting Adam moments. I did choose the EMAs and Trespassing going #1 as my first choices. But there are so many special choices. Iheart was so special. The Oscars. My favorite solo tour, before these latest wonderful solo concerts, would be Glam Nation. But I love Adam's fresh approach and even a new take on some of the older material. Some artists just repeat the same thing over and over and over, lol. If you've seen one concert you have seen them all. Even with QAL, they find a way to make it different and exciting from one tour to the next. And you never know which funky/sexy moves Adam will throw in cause he feels like it. HA. So excited for next year. QAL and Velvet.

Adam's best QAL moment: For me it was the EMAs. Was part of the excited crowd here wondering what would happen - didn't really dare to think it might be just Adam w/Queen. His performance of TSMGO is still his best IMO. Close behind - Kiev. And the best "Under Pressure" - wow! His best Adam moment: The release of Velvet Side A. I really think it is his best to date. So many great songs on it. His true self is shining through. A tribute to his talent, hard work, determination - and courage! I couldn't be prouder of him.

Loved reading everyone's favourite Adam/Queen moments of the last decade.
I'm just about a year into my Adam journey so unfortunately I missed out on many of the big moments in real time and all I have are recordings. That's still amazing though and of course I have a few things that spoke to me especially; - iHeart in Las Vegas (WWTLF still gives me goosebumps) - WWTLF from Isle of Wight - "Love Kills" from the 2014 preview show in California - "Play the Game" at the 2017 Berlin concert (he seemed especially playful; loved the acting) - "Spread Your Wings" - from any event, really. Just so good and free flowing. - The "Outlaws of Love" Intro of the Morongo solo concert - just so haunting and beautiful - then transition into "Ghost Town) - "Believe" and "Girl Crush" - he's so good in those tribute shows
From the events I got to experience as they happened, loved the following: - The Oscars (still remember the butterflies and anticipation) - My first live show, in Toronto (to be honest, it was a bit overwhelming and I hope to get to see QAL again and just be more in the moment) - Global Citizen Festival (that one felt very emotional for some reason)
Putting the list together, also watched the EMAs and parts of the Kiev concert and as much as I understand how monumental those were at the time, I actually realized that I like his voice now (say, the last 5-6 years) much more. It just feels, I don't know, richer?

My favorite Adam/Queen moments this decade were:
Adam in Paso Robles, CA on 7/19/13. I flew to LA and drove up to Paso Robles and had a great time with a large group of Glamberts who knew each other through the old Idol Forum. Something I vividly remember was when I was in my hotel room because the heat outside was unbearable but despite the heat, Adam started singing during his sound check. His voice filled the whole valley where the main town and venue was located and he sounded so good I could hardly wait for the full concert! It was the last and one of the few American concerts performed for his Trespassing Album. Attendance was not great and it was still very hot in the outdoor arena where the concert was held. Then shortly after the concert started, the weather cooled down to the perfect temperature and Adam commented on it and then performed his heart out. The acoustics were amazing and the sound of his voice was perfect. I have a recording of the concert but I never posted it online because I had a screamer behind me...at least she only screamed between songs! At the end Adam expressed his feelings of being unsure of what the future would bring. Thank goodness QAL began to consume most of his time starting in 2014.
My most memorable Queen moment was New Years Eve in London...I wasn't there but had a great online view of the show. I think it meant a lot to me because before that, Adam didn't really have much respect in the UK. His solo music wasn't drawing much attention and his QAL connection was still too new for most to take seriously. That night, the QAL performance was exquisite and finally thousands in the UK and anyone else who tuned in that night witnessed how glorious their combined talent really was.
