Just watched Angelina's entire video! Loved it! She obviously loves and admires both musically and viscerally. It's easy to take for granted Adam's incredible vocal skills. We listen to a him all the time. Many of us have said over the years that compared to Adam, other singers, even very good ones, sometimes tend to sound thinner or shriekier than he does. Now we now why. He has a well-trained instrument, natural ability, and an whole lot of creativity and evergy. And he has never had that awful vocal damage that some other pop singers have suffered due to lack of training or good vocal maintenance.
We are so lucky to be fans of this man with the one-in-a-billion voice. It's not something that happens very often. And when you combine that voice with amazing good looks, intelligence and an engaging personality, you've really found something special.

Thank you, thank you for posting Angelina's video...soooo interesting! I only got to watch about half of it, because I'm supposed to go grocery shopping. I kept stalling, and hubby made the mistake of asking what I was watching. I explained, in depth, and his eyes glazed over lol. He wouldn't know a note from a pitch if it hit him in the face...the man cannot sing.

Thank you so much, Cassie, for posting Angelina's video. So informative, and it really helps me to hear comments from experts such as her and yourself to explain the "why" of Adam's incredible voice and technique. I knew from the first few times seeing and hearing him on Idol that he was indeed something very special, and I had never heard an incredible voice like his in all of my lifetime (even when my mother, the opera fan, would take me to operas, hoping I would succumb to her love of that art). As Angelina says, we are so lucky to be alive at the same time as Adam to be able to experience such excellence. One thing that really helped me during her video was understanding how difficult it is to transition seamlessly between chest voice and falsetto, and back again to chest voice. I now can listen with "new ears". Also, that he changes the air around him when he sings. I always wondered why I felt so "transformed" at his concerts, and that helps to explain it! The more I learn about Adam's impeccable technique, the more I am just in awe. And yes, when you combine that voice with the rest of "the package", you indeed have a superstar with "superpowers"!
I hope Angelina continues to make videos about Adam!

7 pm eastern iTunes US - #9 overall and #2 pop! The highest I was able to catch so far... is this higher than the original, non-live, Side A? I think it is but I can’t remember where that reached. Going in the right direction anyway. More and more people aware of Velvet.

Going in the right direction anyway. More and more people aware of Velvet. Seems to me that the Live Sessions must be reaching beyond the fan base. Those numbers are really good! The more exposure, the better. Hopefully, new Side A fans will become big Side B fans.
