Our country in NZ is currently on nationwide shutdown. Quite scary, at the Supermarket. No touching. I was thinking though feel sorry for Adam. What awful timing with his album. Hopefully it Doesent effect sales to much. Or promo. Big hugs from a distance and adult beverage of choice lol. We're not on nationwide shutdown yet, but most of our states have stay-at-home orders. I'm so happy Adam went ahead with the album release so we have new music to get excited over. But yes, it was really, really crappy timing for this album...after all the time he's waited to release it. I was thinking the other day, it feels like we've packed about a decade into just these first 3 months of 2020.

An interesting variety of stories from Adam, and it speaks for him to still recognize Sauli's birthday after all those years. That picture in which he kisses Sauli is really cute. I have always liked it. I don't follow Sauli anymore but he looked really handsome there. If I remember correctly, it was taken after the VH1 Diva's gig during the Trespassing era.

I stream and share as much as I can. Not sure how it all works in terms of getting on major playlists when there's no single promoted currently, but I do hope that some songs emerge as favorites and get on select playlists organically. It looks like "Roses" is very popular.

OT I wanted to thank you all for your kind words. The fact you all took the time to offer sympathy really makes a difference. Words DO matter and I must remember to take the time to do the same for others🌹🌹 I believe that nobody can quite prepare for the reality that someone special is suddenly not with us anymore and gone forever. I sincerely wish for you and others who have experienced loss to be okay and feel supported through various stages of grievance. Mourning is love, toward the person you lost as well as coming from the people in your circles. You're not alone.

happy, thank you so much for the Tom Lehrer song! It's perfect! Tom L. was super popular years ago with all kinds of novelty songs. My MIL had a bunch of his albums. He was very clever and extremely funny. His songs covered all sorts of topics. And as you can see here, he could be a bit naughty. Just like Adam. As for the nature video, we have a pair of cardinals in our yard. We do every year. They have a very distinctive call, and the mates call back and forth to each other. Spring is on its way! OT but I love cardinals. I love the bright flash of red on a snowy day! Love the way the male feeds the female! I grew up in Ontario and took all the colourful birds for granted. I am now surrounded by a lot of drab birds (or should I say subtly coloured!). We have a towhee that comes to the suet and a downy woodpecker to the peanuts and some of the native sparrows have a yellow or orange stripe on their heads and that's probably about it for colour. Mind you, I'm not really complaining -- I can go for a walk nearby and see a bald eagle and a hummingbird which is always fun!

It looks like "Roses" is very popular. I think Roses could be a potential radio single. With Velvet. Roses already has 1.3 mill streams on Spotify.
