I live in Southwest Washington State, the biggest problem we have is the Governor is treating the entire state like Seattle. We are on a lockdown, all the schools in the State have been closed until next school year, churches and parks are closed and retirement homes are on lockdown. Lucky for us we live in a more rural area where yards are large or homes are on acreage where families can get out and move around in their own space. I have two college age sons and they were so bored they decided to sand and stain the deck and then moved on to stain my elderly neighbor's deck and mow her yard. The weather has been sunny the past few days so the boys were able to take a short drive up the Columbia River with the dogs and go fishing and daughter, who is really bored, agreed to take a drive with me to a tulip farm if I promised to buy her a Starbucks. All of our local grocery stores are open and fully stocked some are even hiring. The only person in our family who has been laid off is my niece who is a nurse, she is a surgical nurse and the Governor said all elective surgeries had to be cancelled....it seems idiotic to lay off nurses. I think the kids are having the hardest time because they aren't seeing the problem. One strange thing that has happened is one of or boys plays football at the University of Washington and the other one at Montana, both teams are having "virtual" football practice which they say is a little weird, but at least their coaches can stay in contact with them.
I feel so bad for all of you in areas of the Country that have been hit hard and pray that this will peak and we can get on the downside of this so peoples lives can get back to normal. It looks we will all be having virtual Easter services with no extended family, I hope you all have access to Easter services if you celebrate. Praying everyone can stay healthy. well I live in rural SW WA as well and I for one am happy we are in lockdown, boredom or not. We have had hoards of Puget Sound residents driving through to the beaches and clearing out the stores on the way. I would prefer they not bring their germs here.

I don't have any luck trying to transfer stories.
Adam posted in his stories. Looks like he's trying to use his new equipment. Maybe we will get some music soon!
